These cameras are excellent in setting up, audio is great and the video very good. I switched from an older night owl system, what a difference! I was able to use the same wires. The only “downside” is that they pick up and record even bugs and leaves and so you’ll end up with a million recordings but that can be adjusted. Great value, wiring was easy and security top notch.

This is a great system, easy to install and works right away, no phone calls to customer service needed!

This system is phenomenal. Motion detection is fantastic and so is the discrimination between basic motion, cars, and people. I have the cameras set to record all motion but only notify on people. And here's the good part, the push notifications to your phone work as they should. The 2K cameras have great video too. I went with the 2K system so I could use my existing wiring and reuse some of my old cameras. Works flawlessly. Two thumbs up!

I'd give it five stars if it didn't have one problem. I set the notification to record and notify me if it's a person only, instead of car or motion. But it records and notifies me if cats walk by and says it's human. So I get alot of unwanted recordings and notifications. Other than that, it's perfect.

This item is pretty straight forward, has very good video, the new ones have audio, we use this brand everywhere, on the farm, laundromat, rental space etc. I highly recommend this brand for the money!

It took a little longer than I expected to get it installed. It was just over a month before I got someone to install it for me. Once installed, the hard drive didn't work. I contacted company and they would not replace because it was past the 30 day refund/replacement time. Now I have to buy another DVR. It has only been 2 weeks past the 30 day mark. I am very unhappy with this seller and would not recommend buying from them. Buy directly from Night Owl if you want one of these. I will buy my replacement from Night Owl themselves and not from this seller. RIP OFF!!!!!!

I purchased this unit for my elderly father's house. He has limited mobility and wants to see/hear what is happening outside. I liked the idea of the voice feature because I thought he could communicate with delivery drivers and such without needing to get up. He said on the first night the system started squealing and "talking to the neighbors" on it's own. The next day things seemed ok but following that the cameras went mostly into black and white mode. Each day there seemed to be a new camera moving from color to black and white. This rendered the camera useless as nothing could be seen. I restarted the system which would temporarily fix the issue for a few hours. I tried readjusting the cameras, moving them to a different location, using new/different splitters, new wires, and resetting the system. All with no lasting result. **On a good note I will say that the cameras looked fabulous at night with the amount of detail you can see. So after everything I reached out to the company directly for help but my return window was closing in fast. It was difficult to figure out how to reach the company and after several days of waiting they finally responded that I had reached out to the wrong department but gave no contact information for the right one. I would have liked to avoid it but decided to return the unit to Amazon. I've spent thousands of dollars though the years for my business and my family on night owl products and have mostly had a good experience. I can't say if I received a defective unit or if the tech on these cameras need more work but overall this was not a good experience and I might advise looking elsewhere if you're looking for a system with two way audio.

La conexión bien, pero las cámaras que están en el exterior y que les da el sol de frente se apagan durante algunas horas....para interiores todo bien. Para exterior hay usar otra camara.
