BANDAI - Movie Monster Series - Hedorah

I picked up the Bandai Movie Monster Series Millennium Godzilla figure and overall I’m really happy with it. If you’re a fan of the Millennium era design from Godzilla 2000, this is a really nice collectible for the price. The first thing I noticed was the weight and feel of the vinyl. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy and durable in hand, which is pretty typical for Bandai’s Movie Monster Series. It doesn’t feel cheap or hollow, and it stands securely without tipping over. The paint quality is also very solid. The metallic purple dorsal plates really stand out and the darker body color looks very close to the film design. The color accuracy is one of the highlights of the figure in my opinion, especially on the spikes and claws. In terms of articulation and movement, it’s fairly limited, which is expected for this line. The arms and legs have basic articulation so you can adjust the pose slightly, but it’s more of a display figure than a highly poseable action figure. That said, the sculpt is dynamic enough that it looks good on a shelf even without much posing. The size is right around 6 inches tall, which fits perfectly with other figures in the Movie Monster Series. It’s a good scale for display and works well alongside other Godzilla or kaiju figures if you’re building a collection. Great durability, good quality and detail, and two of the arms and the head all have excellent mobility! Makes a great coffee mug protector!

Great product

My 9yr old son couldn’t be happier! The details on this are amazing and the “stop motion” joints as he calls it are perfect. He likes to make videos with all of his Godzilla’s and this was a perfect addition. Size was true good weight to it and 5 stars for playability.
