This paint completely transformed my countertops! I love that there’s no sanding, stripping, or priming required — it made the whole project so quick and stress-free. The color “Licorice” looks sleek and modern with a nice matte finish. It went on smoothly, dried fast, and feels super durable — no chips or cracks so far. A little goes a long way, and the finish looks like it was professionally done. Definitely recommend for a budget-friendly and beautiful DIY upgrade!

This paint is fantastic! i did all my kitchen cabinets with this on the top row. I had previously painted the cabs with this paint. so the refreshening was so easy. wiped down and then air dried and painted. i did 10 cabs and window frame in kitchen. wow!! looks beautiful.

Great product!
Used this paint to paint over my existing painted kitchen cabinets. My cabinets had been painted 3x with different colors before I painted them using this brand. My cabinets before painting had been chipped and peeling. I sanded over these parts and just washed them with a degreaser spray before painting. One coast completely covered it but I wanted 2 coats for extra durability. I have been so happy with the results. It has been over a year now and they still look great! The paint is thick but spreads and smooths out nicely. I liked the thickness of the paint because I had less clean up mess from no dripping. I plan to buy white to repaint my doorway trim soon because it was so easy to use the first time. Great product!

Just used, it covers SO WELL.
Just used, it covers SO WELL. The container will shock you on how small it is, but I did an entire countertop, long and have half a container left to use on something else. Can't vouch yet on durability but the quality of the paint seems really good, it's exactly the color as advertised. I'm excited for it to cure for a week and then give it a go with using it!

Multiple uses
Easy to use and covers well. Minimal odor and decent drying time. I actually used this on my old countertops and held up pretty well. It is expensive however. I would buy it again. Used the white on my old kitchen cabinets. No sanding needed but be sure to clean off any kitchen grease surfaces for good adhesion.

This paint is great to work with!
This paint is the best! This is the second time I’ve used it on a project, and I couldn’t be happier. So easy to apply, without having to do the labour intensive sanding and priming work. I was able to refurbish my nightstands (see image of before and after) and save myself the hassle and money of buying a new set. Be patient and “stipple” the areas that you don’t roll - the final finish will be nice and even. I did 2 coats, and have leftover paint kept at the ready in case I get any little nicks. I would describe this colour “Pebble” as a medium taupe. I will come on here and give a Sherwin Williams comparable colour. That’s the hardest part about ordering, is not having a paint chip to hold in your space with your correct lighting. Luckily, Amazon is great about returns. I ordered the small size container and it was plenty to do 2 coats on both nightstands and I still have leftover in the jar. Side note: for this project, I also ordered the colour “Sand” and would describe it as a light creamy colour with the tiniest hint of pink, so it’s a warmer creamy white. It’s a lovely colour, too, but not right for me this time. Overall - Excellent paint - I’ll be buying it a third time for next year’s projects.

Updated my 1990’s Bedroom Furniture - Before and After Shots
I just saved myself more than $1000 by painting my furniture with this product. It was very easy. Follow directions exactly regarding cleaning, etc. It took 2 coats. I let white dry and then took a wet sponge and used soft gray to make some woodgrain-like streaks. It needs to sit for 30 days to fully cure. It scratches very easily now but I’m hoping that after 30 days that won’t be an issue. I will buy again! Update - It’s not been 30 days yet (curing period) and after a few touch-ups that I did in the first few days where the finish scratched really easy, I can already see where it’s hardening and becoming more durable and not easily scratched. Give it 30 days, folks. Update - It’s been 6 months and the finish is still beautiful. It no longer scratches easily and looks great.

Not good for very old furniture
I have refinished furniture the traditional way, meaning sanding, priming and painting. I needed to paint my sideboard quicky so I thought I would give Beyond Paint a try. My sideboard is an antique, mahogany wood. I cleaned it very well with Simple Green as instructed, then rinsed it several times with vinegar and water, let it air dry for 4 hours. I chose the off white and started to use the paint with the roller as directed and the chip brush. The first coat went on well, except for two areas on the top of my piece. The paint just started sliding off. I continued with the rest of the sideboard. I let it dry and gave it another coat. Again the paint would not adhere to these areas. I wiped the paint off of the areas and gave a second coat elsewhere. I let it dry overnight. There is definitely bleed through and not full coverage with two coats. I was able to cover up the areas that would not take the paint, but you can still see the wood coming through. My piece would definitely need 4 coats of this paint for a truly opaque finish. It looks fine for now as I want the somewhat distressed look. We will see how it holds up. For me I found that you cannot drag the paint with the roller or put pressure like with other paints. Just let the paint roll. You can tap the brush in the corners and the paint will self level once dry. Overall, it did take less time than usual refinishing, but I really should have sanded my piece prior to applying paint. It saved me time, clean up was easy and I am pleased with the result. I used 1 pint for a sideboard and have a drop left. My furniture really sucked up the paint. Not all furniture will come out the way those you tube videos show.
