These work as described, good weatherproof housing, no discernible drop in speed!
These couplings do what they're supposed to. I look at bad reviews first, and I saw that someone claimed the ground/shield tabs were not in the ones they got. They were in mine. Also saw claims of great signal loss or reduction in speed. I'm still getting the 600 Mbps up & down speeds I was before adding this coupling and extending my Cat 8 run. If you have any doubts, my suggestion is buy these. They work fine.

Perfect for coupling Starlink cables.
I used this coupler to join the standard (gen 3) Starlink 75โ cable to a 150โ cable. Took about 2 minutes. Works great. No discernible drop in performance , very simple to install.

Coupler clearly marked "CAT6" inside, not CAT7 or CAT8
I paid a premium price for 2 "CAT6/CAT7/CAT8" couplers, to support new CAT8 cabling I am installing. However, inside the coupler, the actual RJ45 female connectors are plainly marked "CAT6" - not CAT7, not CAT8. They are CAT8 capable only in the sense that all Ethernet cables are backwards compatible with lower performance levels. Don't advertise a CAT6 coupler as being "CAT8". Other than that issue, the couplers seem to be of adequate quality, pretty much the same as many other couplers available from other suppliers for 2/3 the price, and perfectly fine for coupling CAT6 cables.

Simple easy to setup
This is very straight forward and easy to setup. I bought these for my POE security camera and it passes power and ethernet with no issues.
