I bought one of these transformers and it ran extremely hot, it also has no kitemark. I read a review by an electrical engineer who stripped one of these down, and he claims there is no thermal cutout on this device, which means it could catch fire if you run it close to its rated limit.

Convertidor transformador perfecto para un uso continuado. Se recibio antes de la fecha prevista y tiene una calidad ecelente. Satisfactorio.

Ich hatte lange nach einem expliziten 100 Volt Trafo für ein Japangerät gesucht, Trafos mit 1:2 sprich 220/240 Volt zu 110/120 Volt gibt es reichlich, 230 Volt zu 100 Volt sind dagegen selten. Die Lieferzeit des Trafos war deutlich länger als die meines Japanimportes. Mit einem guten Multimeter messe ich rund 233 Volt Netzspannung und am Trafoausgang 113 Volt. Es handelt sich also auch nur um einen 1:2 Trafo mit ein wenig zusätzlichem Spannungsabfall - schade!

持ち物に一つだけ220V対応でない製品があったので、これを買いました。 機能的には全く問題ありませんでした。 同種の製品のなかでは軽いほうだと思いますが、もう少しだけ軽いとありがたい。
