This device solves my problem of wanting to carry my camera with the straps attached to the bottom, but still be able to put my camera on a arca-swiss head tripod from time to time. I want my straps on the bottom because they interfere with my operation of the camera when they are on the top. The finish on this device is gorgeous. The machining is impeccable. Its operation is very smooth. Very importantly, there is a locking mechanism to prevent the release button from being accidentally depressed. The design is intelligent. It's truly a pleasure to own this little device. Highly recommended.

It offers quick on, quick off. The locking mechanism is satisfyingly snappy. One-handed operation feels solid, and the mount clicks into place like perfect. Great build quality and the metal construction that is sturdy but not overly heavy. It is a low-profile design, so it blends in nicely. It worked flawlessly with my Peak Design strap. It is not cheap, Ulanzi must offer something at more budget friendly level.

easy to use, small and compact. great way to use one strap if you have multiple cameras, just get additional plates for it and you're set. Light weight and feels secure, doesn't add bulk to your setup

I use the NEEWER Quick Release Plate 38mm Square Arca Swiss Type plate #QRP. Wasn't sure they would fit the Ulanzi F38. They fit really well with no movement at all. Combined with a Lucky leather strap fitted directly to the mount, life has been a lot more pleasurable to quickly remove the camera when walking around and not getting the strap in the way. No more dangly bits hanging off the camera. The ULANZI F38 Camera Shoulder Strap Mount is worth every bit of the cost and I would be happy to give 10 stars if possible.
