This is a great tool! It takes some getting used to, but it’s going to save us lots of money every month.

I'm just a dad trying to save some money with home haircuts. I bought the left-handed model. It's kind of expensive but feels ergonomic and well made, like it will hold up over time. This product didn't work well for me and I watched at least 10 of their videos and tried my best. The official instructions (online only) are short, incomplete, and not helpful at all. First, you will get zero instructions about how to give a full haircut. Only the blending phase is described or shown. So, you are on your own for figuring out how to trim the top of the head. Should the top be cut first? What length should the top be for best results? Does it matter? None of these things are mentioned at all. Good luck. You need to be skilled with scissors and figure it out. The blending phase is shown in short clips with very limited instructions. They do not tell you that the bottom half of the haircut must be very short (#1 Guard - 3mm). It will not work with larger guards. Why this is kept secret, I do not know. Then, importantly, you need to remove the guard when using the Blend Frend. Again, why this important required step is kept secret and not described, I cannot imagine. They say repeat the blending part 3 times. I had to repeat it 8-10 times to get all the chunks out. Very frustrating. It would be so easy for them to post a FULL video that shows all the steps of a complete at-home haircut, but they do not. Perhaps they think their main customer are trained hairdressers who only need instruction on using the tool? Huge missed opportunity to provide better instructions for amateurs learning to cut hair at home. Overall, my results were poor. You are better off watching basic haircutting videos and just using a big comb with your clippers. Super disappointed with this product and even more disappointed with the lack of quality instructions.

This was a great purchase! I have three boys and recently started cutting their hair at home, and this fade comb has made a huge difference. It’s been incredibly helpful in getting clean, even fades, and I’ve actually been surprised at how professional the results look. The comb is sturdy, easy to grip, and designed just right for blending. It helps guide the clippers smoothly and really improves the overall look of the haircut. I’ve used it several times already and it’s held up well with no signs of wear. If you’re a parent cutting hair at home or just trying to learn how to fade, I definitely recommend this comb. It’s affordable, effective, and has made home haircuts so much easier—and better looking!

I’m sure it works for thin hair and shorter. My hair texture which is thick and curly, just didn’t seem to fully separate it for me to be able to cut it. I had to manually grab the hair and try to make it fit and sit properly. Too much hassle

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My husband used this to help give my boys hair cuts and if you are a novice this really makes things easier.

My 7 year old can barely sit still for a stylist to cut his hair, it never comes out right because of that and he HATEs the whole process. So I tried to do the broccoli cut myself on him. This did help get the fade to look closer to what it should be, it is not super close to the skin, so it looks a little more grown out but thats better than the grown out scruffy mop. This kept the clippers off his skin, and that helps. Might help you too.

They idea is good. The tool is okay. This tool is not made for low fades and people who keep there hair shorter. This is for longer tops and and more of a taper than a fade.

I cut my son’s hair so easily! Excited to save $40 every other month by doing this at home.

Ho provato il pettine Blend Frend misto di grado 1 (3 mm) e devo dire che è davvero un ottimo accessorio per tagliare i capelli corti. Sfuma i capelli in modo molto naturale e uniforme, rendendo il taglio professionale anche a casa. È facile da montare e usare, compatibile con quasi tutti i tagliacapelli che ho provato. Un vero must per chi ama avere un look curato senza andare dal barbiere troppo spesso. Consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un pettine sfumino di qualità semplice ed efficace!

Hervorragendes Produkt. Sehr gute Verarbeitung und Qualität. Lässt sich gut in der Hand halten und die Handhabung ist kinderleicht. Übergänge gelingen wie beim Friseur und kinderleicht. Die beigefügte Anleitung wird kaum gebraucht aber sie ist da. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen 👍

It obviously works but what is NOT obvious is the fact that they don’t clearly state it’s for a minimal hair length (size 1 clipper spacer) and not shorter.. So I’m stuck with zero use of the product unless I grow my hair beyond the minimal length..
