Came with steel inserts if your stands do not have the correct size threads for these-mic stands sometimes do not come with the right fittings, just an open screw for attaching a fitting. A good choice for semi-pro or hobbyist. If I were using these daily in a pro environment, I might be looking for something a little sturdier though. And clips seem to just disappear when knocking down after events. The first mic I tried to use this clip with was an EV ND76. The clip would not hold because the diameter of the microphone body varies from one end to the other. The clip has a nice pad that looks like it would hold any mic, but evidently the clip is not strong enough for that.
