It’s easy to use, but the drying time is long. The product is glossy, and effective.

I have used this brand before, great finish.. I noticed white Smokey patches during the drying period but it finishes clean and clear when completely dry so don’t panick like I did! It says 30 minute to dry but give it a few hours if you notice any areas that appear patchy and white.

I was looking for a gloss varnish to seal my paintings. As I have not been painting long I didn't have another product to compare the Mont Marte with I just picked one on Amazon and hoped for the best. However, it did live up to expections and what was a milky finish to start with turned into a lovely clear gloss varnish as it dried. I started with a soft decorating paint brush but found it tended to leave brush marks, so changed to using a "smooth" sponge and that worked well. Very happy.

Love this product, easy to apply with a Artists brush, Applied two coats on my finished vase, good coverage, dries quickly. Also easy to wash out of your brush in some hot soapy water using washing up Liquid. This bottle size will last a long time, a little goes along way, I will be buying again

My grandchildren like to paint stones and this protects their art work well. I would recommend

This has actually ruined my picture that took me weeks to do,there's hardly any instructions just use a soft brush and takes half hrs to dry.Its so thick that you can spread it around,so you have to wait until dry then keep filling in patches,so far it's on its 4th cover ? Very disappointing 😞

Es ist sehr fest, legt sich leider nicht 100%ig auf das Bild. Sodass Löcher entstehen. Auch beim zweiten Anstrich lässt es sich nicht schnell und gut genug verteilen, sodass die Löcher bleiben oder neue entstehen. Außerdem braucht es für einen Anstrich, durch die Dicke des Glosses viel zu viel von dem Gloss. Also bekomme ich höchstens 6 Bilder damit versiegelt (25x25 cm). Schade, habe schon so viel von der Marke. War bisher immer zufrieden.

The best! Thick, but blends perfectly. I tried applying with a brush, which took longer, so then I just tried putting it directly on the painting and blending it, which was easier and actually worked better and more smoothly. Turned out beautifully glossy and clear. Very happy with the results. Washes off easily, too.
