This is very well made, has a great feel in hand, well balanced. It's also a very good looking blade and handle while having a nice sharp edge. I would buy it again.

I feel like such a pro in the kitchen with this knife!! I have several sizes of kitchen knives that do the job okay for most things, but this one is 150% SHARPER! Now I get why professional chefs have/keep their own knives they hold dear. This one cuts with precision through everything I've used it on for meal prepping. For the 1st time I actually fileted several large chicken breasts, neatly & evenly (applause😁)... Cut through them with ease like buttah!! I even used it as a bread knife after testing it to my actual bread knife & discovered cutting fresh baked sourdough bread shouldn't be a chore! It glides through whole watermelons, raw potatoes, onions, beets, whole carrots; chopping, dicing, julianne cuts etc. Makes fast work of removing sinewy fat off beef & pork cuts too. Has a good, solid handle that is easy to grip & comes with a protective 'sleeve' to slide the sharp edge in.... Did I mention this knife is sharp?? My other knives can't cut butter compared to this knife🥴

I bought the Home Hero 5" Santoku as an extra to complement our existing Emeril 5" Santoku so my wife and I each have one to use when we cook together. It's perfect for cutting small veggies like brussels sprouts, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, etc, and is also useful for smaller cuts of meat like chicken breasts. I chose the Home Hero for its VG10 steel, good looks, included storage blade protector, and great price, and I am not disappointed. It came shaving sharp and has held an edge very well, remaining shaving sharp after many uses. Although it never got dull enough to degrade performance cutting food, it did lose its razor edge after a month or so, but was very easy to bring back to shaving sharp with a few light strokes on the 40 degree V of a Spyderco Sharpmaker. My only complaint about it is the handle is just a little short so the end of it catches the palm a little uncomfortably when I take a natural grip. But it is so good otherwise, I just choke up on it a little and cut happily way.

I will never understand how this beautiful knife can be sold for such a low price. I have several of them in my kitchen, and I use them frequently as gifts. The knife has excellent steel and handle, and a beautiful look. If you use knives frequently, they obviously have to be sharpened and I sharpen this one as needed. It holds it edge very well, and his very easy in your hand when you use it. I would recommend this knife enthusiastically. It is a great price/performer.

Beautiful, well made knife for the price. Ultra sharp, as I found out while cleaning the fingerprints off the blade. The wood and the steel blend together smoothly, as they should. The rivets are ground flush to the wood. It's heavy enough that it feels like you have a quality tool in your hand, yet light enough for fine detail slicing. Cutting an inch thick steak was effortless. I like the full tang, with a steel cap at the end.. Best $15 knife I've seen. When I need more kitchen knives, I will shop Home Hero first. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get.

New favorite knives! Bought a few of them. Heavy duty and super sharp! I love the thick blades; perfect for dicing and chopping. Easy to maneuver with a comfortable grip. Great price!

I have been doing most of the cooking since my wife had cancer treatment last year. She finds roast dinners the easiest thing to eat because of the gravy. I like to include lots of veg and this knife is perfect for chopping the veg. The main reason I got a new knife was because all of mine stick to the veg after I've cut it. So I waste time picking it all off, which I also feel is a bit dangerous and spoils my flow. This knife doesn't stick to the veg at all plus it feels really secure. It is a good weight, clearly well-made and seems to have a very good edge which I hope will last. When I used it for the first time tonight, I found myself chopping the "proper" way, although slowly. I can't do this with my other knives for some reason. Very pleased and the price was amazing considering the quality. I was also very impressed that the delivery guy insisted on my wife passing security before he would hand the package over as I wasn't in. Very wise in the current climate.

Me parece buen producto corta muy bien pero las betas que hacen dibujo de la hoja nose si estan hechas a laser. Igualmente tiene muy buena presencia y calidad.
