Small birds were making a nest in the corner of my aluminum pergola. I removed all the nest material, but they came back. I put some aluminum foil in each corner and taped it up with painter's tape. That seemed to work, but it looked pretty ugly. So I bought these snakes to discourage their activity without creating an eyesore. They're pretty cute, and the color is the only thing that seems a little unrealistic, but the higher visibility associated with the brighter colors is probably good to allow the birds to see them even in dim light. Because they'll be under cover and not exposed to sun, I think these will last long and be more subtle visually than aluminum foil. Good value for 4 snakes.

Working well. Bought these to keep birds out of carport

When exposed to the elements these dry out and easily become brittle. I don't expect these to last outdoors for more than one growing season. That said, I think they helped in deterring birds from attacking my small garden

Worked to keep birds from nesting in my awning but by fall they had deteriorated and were broken. Not expensive so just plan to order every spring.

Very low quality product. Disintegrated after a few months of weathering. I'd purchased a batch made by a different manufacturer 8 years ago and the ones I have left are still going strong. Unfortunately I lost most of them over the years, and so I bought this batch a year ago. They've all disintegrated; I am still picking up shreds that scattered to various locations on and around the deck.

Work great in flower pots and garden to keep critters away!

Birds were’t scared of the snakes at all. Maybe they were too small.
