Makes a very nice high protein dessert. But, the sugar alcohol prevents me from eating as much as I'd like.

These things are awesome! The first taste was weird but then I got to craving it and don’t even notice that it was a bit weird. Now it tastes normal! I’ve actually stopped ordering g them for a moment because they’re so good!

The cost of Quest products have risen astronomically over the past few years. I really only buy the chocolate chip cookies now when they are $18/12pk on Amazon. I just can’t justify the prices any longer. Over $2/cookie is just insane and not worth it. If you do splurge, I recommend buying the chocolate chip and skipping the others.1. Chocolate chip 9/10: great texture, chewy, no artificial after taste and a ton of great tasting chocolate chips. This is the clear winner due to ratio of cookie to choc chips. Spread a little peanut butter on top and thank me later.2. Double chocolate chip 5/10: bland choc flavor, not enough chocolate chips, decent texture but underwhelming flavor3. PB chocolate chip 6/10: very little peanut butter flavor, not enough chocolate chips, good texture but a bit bland. More of a mild peanut flavor and less of the desired peanut butter flavor. They should have left out the peanuts and added more choc chips or PB chips.4. Peanut butter 5/10: very little peanut butter flavor, bland. Should be called peanut, not peanut butter. There is a difference; think pb mm vs pb cups.5. Snickerdoodle 6/10: ok flavor and texture, missing something, good as a topping; crumble in protein ice cream or yogurt

I buy quite a bit of the Quest line of snack items to help me cut sugar out of my diet. My favorite by far however are these cookies! Their snack bars are nice, but the textures can be off-putting, focusing more on sweetness than form. These cookies however have an excellent mouthfeel, which is important because the feeling of biting into a soft, fresh baked snack with chunks of chocolate is a huge part of the experience. The flavor is impressively close to a real cookie as well. It is sweet with a nice cocoa flavor, and the chocolate chips feel "melty" in the mouth. Of course it isn't exactly like Grandma's home baked cookies. The chocolate bits do have a "cool" sensation to them (caused by the sugar alcohols) and the aftertaste is a little off, but doesn't last long.If you need to cut back on sugar whether for medical reasons, or for dieting, then these are an excellent way to keep those sweet cravings from causing you to lose control.One word of warning however: The high fiber and protein content will make your farts... potent and frequent. If you're married, for the sake of your spouse, don't eat these before bed!

The taste and texture of this cookie is the best. It definitely does the job of a Quest Nutrition Double Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie. However, the idea of having 1g Sugar in this protein cookie is a hoax or an advertising gimmick. They have like 8 grams of sugar alcohol as added sugar in this cookie. Our bodies do not know the difference between natural and added sugars. There is no chemical difference between them. They're both made of the same molecules -- glucose and fructose.If they had made this cookie with only 1g of sugar and no sugar alcohol then I would have bought thousands of packages. I request the manufacturer to please make this cookie sugar alcohol free, you do not to have any kind of added sugar. Make this cookie sugar free as well as sweet free. Most people are not only concerned about the amount of sugar but also the degree of sweetness.PLEASE REMOVE ALL OF THE SUGAR ALCOHOL Thank you!

Good flavor and texture

I’ve found the best low carb brand of cookies, chips, cheese crackers….Quest is the best. These are soft cookies. They are chocolatey and delicious. The quality is consistent. I’ve been eating these for a while. Protein makes them healthy. They are easy to stash in the car to hopefully avoid an impromptu trip through the fast food drive through. Try putting a moist paper towel over them for 5 seconds in the microwave.

I tried the Quest Double Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie and I have to say, the texture is what impressed me the most. This is amazing, tasty and low carb and sugar!

Tastes even better than the normal Quest Chocolate Chip cookie imho. The only drawback is the extremely high level of saturated fat so I only eat one once a week.
