What is the shelf life of this product?

NCP-2 aerosol has a 2-year shelf life.

Can says extremely flammable, so why is it safe on the battery?

Batteries dont have flame or heat at connecters, there is not enough spray on your terminals to cause a issue. All fluids in your engine are flammable

Would I still be able to use float/trickle charger clamps to charge battery or would this spray prevent the connection charge?

Not only will your charger clamps work just fine, you should spray both male and female terminals BEFORE they are assembled. I've use this product since the 1970's and have consistently followed this practice without any problem. In fact once I have sprayed everything before assembly, I cannot remember ever having ANY corrosion after that. NOCO doesn't recommend this, but I have also solved issues with noisy low voltage switches and variable resisters by spraying NCP2 on the contact surfaces. Almost instant fix! This stuff is better than ANY other anti-corrosion spray for batteries I've tried.

Do you spray this on the bare battery terminal or when evertthing is tightened down?
