Bought these for my 12 year old daughter, for her martial arts classes. She has braces and these gum shields protect them well. At first she said they felt a little too big in her mouth, but unfortunately that was the smallest size I could get her. She was 11 then, but even then she got used to them quickly. As time has gone by they fit her more comfortably. They are so easy to look after and the quality is great. They’ve really protected her top and bottom braces well.

Teen son has fixed braces on top and bottom teeth. This brace does not need moulding it just fits over the braces and stays in place protecting both top and bottom teeth. He is the captain of his school rugby team and the brace clamps his mouth shut so it's fun to shout orders to his team mates without moving his mouth! He manages though and likes it better than the usual mouthguard he wore before. You have to be careful taking it out of the mouth to make sure it spdoesnt catch but once you are in the habit it is easy to do.

My 12 year old son is using it for rugby to protect his brace. He says "it's comfortable but a bit annoying that I have to keep my jaw shut so I can't talk very well" My three star rating reflects the confusing instruction guide and lack of important information and inadequate box. 1.It says " youth size 11- " I took a risk buying this size because this isn't clear what age it goes up to.. It does fit I'm happy to say. 2.The instructions enclosed says boil it in a saucepan then take it out the pan and then "see mouthguard type for next step" but when you read further it says no boiling required. The outer packaging says "no boiling required". This is a bit confusing. 3.There is no information about which way up to insert it in your mouth. 4. The box supplies with it is too shallow for it so you have to squash it to close it. I have had to buy a separate box.

We found it a little difficult to mould around my child’s braces, and they come up fairly small even for an adults gum shield. Once got shape though they protected the main part of mouth and we’re comfy .

Works as described and fits perfectly! 5 Stars and would recommend!

Very good product and well made. It clips really well over braces with the pointy bits under the edge and covers top and bottom braces very well. Better than the one provided for me by the orthodontist. Have used playing Lacrosse and hockey.

I am eternally grateful to those who advised me on this mouth guard. My 12 yr old daughter has just got double braces and needed an ortho guard. Tried costly hard guard from orthodontist and she gagged. Her mouth is quite small and worried about spending on another guard only to be rejected. The youth version of this was perfect and she was immediately happy.

My son has tried many different gun shields but can never mind then properly to fit his mouth. Having now got braces, we bought these and they are so easy to use. Will continue to use them even when he no longer has braces

Mein Sohn ist 8 Jahre alt und macht Kickboxen. Bisher hatten wir immer Mundschützer für den Oberkiefer, die man durch Einlegen in heißes Wasser anpassen musste. Aufgrund seiner neuen Zahnspange war diese Variante jedoch nicht mehr geeignet. Diesen Mundschutz haben wir deshalb ausprobiert. Anfangs dachte ich, dass das Zubeißen mit Ober- und Unterkiefer, damit er hält, vielleicht ein Problem sein könnte. Aber mein Sohn findet ihn deutlich angenehmer als die bisherigen Modelle. Auch der Lippenschluss funktioniert sehr gut, sodass er beim Tragen kaum beeinträchtigt ist. Ich denke, dass er diesen Mundschutz auch nach der Zeit mit der Zahnspange weiterhin bevorzugen wird, da er ihn insgesamt als angenehmer empfindet. Das Material macht ebenfalls einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Ich vermute, dass Silikon gegenüber den verformbaren Thermoplast-Materialien einige Vorteile bietet, da es angenehm weich ist und sich gut anfühlt. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden und können den Mundschutz besonders für Kinder mit Zahnspange, aber vermutlich auch darüber hinaus, empfehlen.

Great for braces and fit well for Karate. Did not have to mold easy. And is thick quality is awesome for price and great durability

The package carton and plastic were not sealed at the edge. Unfortunately I can’t return it
