I've had fish ponds for decades, and as they've become more popular, the filter equipment has gotten better and better. There are a few of the "same design" filter here, but this Vevor filter finally came out as the one that works (as opposed to other brands.) After another brand kept blowing the UV lamp (necessary for algae control) I took the head apart and found the ballast was wired to neutral instead of Line, as clearly indicated on the ballast. So while that worked for a while, it blew in a couple weeks. Replaced twice, even rewired it didn't last a month. So I tried Vevor's model - and wouldn't you know it blew too!! Theirs was wired correctly (with more advanced electronics in the head), so I figured this was a fluke. They replaced it promptly (through their ticket system) and it's been working for over a month now, so I think I finally have a good one! Their great customer service, plus a correct electrical design, makes this model stand out over other 'identical' models! I have a few Vevor tools and motors now, and they are all great! Fingers crossed for my fishies on this one. Specs: pond is 600gal, pump sized for this filter's max clears over twice gal/hr. With copious rain and barley straw extract occasionally, occasional net leaf and debris removal, built-in backwashing filter elements @3-4 months, this keeps pond crystal clear! Backwashing produces a good amount of algae, so that works to keep filters clean; when I've taken the filter apart the foam elements aren't even that dirty, certainly not plugged and the button has never popped up indicating high pressure. Easy maintenance.

The Vevor pond filter is a big improvement over what we have been using. It has a built in biocide light and can be cleaned without disassembly which make building and maintaining a pond less complicated and less work and it works well in our 4500 gallon lily pond. So far, after a year of use, it has not leaked.

Love this filter been using it on my 1200~ gallon 4 koi pond. It's not big enough by it's self because koi are just super messy fish but paired with a secondary waterfall filter and some floating plants it's a darn good addition it filters both large chunks and ultra tiny pea green water out and the UV bulb can keeps water crystal clear. I've been dumping the waste water weekly and can get 3 to 5 gallons of concentrated green/waste water out and it only takes 2-3 minutes just open outlet, crank a few times, and let out a few gallons.

Worked AWESOME on my 300 gallon Comet Goldfish pond. I was having a lot of issues with green, cloudy water. Within 2-3 days, everything was cleared up. I will flush it every couple of weeks now. I have been super impressed by Vevor products on my recent projects at our place. No leaks, everything went together nicely. I dug mine down into the dirt and put it in a cut down 5 gallon bucket with drain holes on the bottom. Fits perfect and it should protect it from direct dirt contact. I put a metal small lid on top to hide it a little bit and keep it from direct sunlight.

This filter works really great...when it works. We ordered this on June 8, 2024. It worked really great until it didn't work anymore. We asked for a replacement part and VEVOR sent us a whole new unit! It was awesome. Our pond was clean and clear all summer and fall. We got the filter up and running this spring and had a lot of trouble with the valve not turning from backwash to clean correctly. I emailed VEVOR on May 16, 2025, before the warranty was up, and asked for technical help. We emailed back and forth until it was past the year warranty. Now they won't send a new part and say they can't refund the purchase price because the card we used to pay for it is not available. We had to cancel it because we were hacked. We are super happy with the product even though have to "Mickey Mouse" it to get it to work correctly. As for VEVOR's customer service???? I will be more than happy to share the email thread with anyone who wants to read it.

The filter arrived sooner than expected. The filter was setup today 11-2-25. It was hard for my husband to assemble. He had issues with the connections fitting on the waterline. We tried everything to clear up the water this summer and nothing worked. As you can see our water is dark green, and you can't see the fish. We are hoping this clears up in a few days. Will update my review in a few days.

Made well and working well. I don't use the UV because I don't want it killing my good bacteria. So as far as the 12-hour or 24-hour timer on it I wouldn't know if it even works but I'm sure it does

This UV filter keeps my small koi pond water crystal clear. I have the UV light on 24/7 to control the algae and change the UV bulb every 10 months. Previously, being outdoor in the hot Hawaiian sun, my pond quickly develops algae and I used to drain and scrub clean it every 2 weeks. Now, I do not clean the pond at all and only back flush the filter every 2 weeks. Big time labor saver. After 10 months, the UV unit started to beep. I contacted Vevor's customer service and they were very responsive with emails. They even emailed me back if I didn't email a response within 24 hours. Rather than send me the defective part, they sent me a whole new filter and stated the filter was under warranty. I had completely forgotten that it still was under the 1 year warranty. Best customer service ever and I would definitely purchase from them again.
