Review: It’s brilliant—the best knitting book I own. - What an amazing book. I’ve just looked through the whole thing, read the stitch instructions, checked out how the charts work and am pretty sure it’s the best knitting book own (and I have so many lovely knitting books!) It’s just that this one is full of *unique* stitches, all the info needed is laid out well, the charts are clear, and the photos beautiful. It also encourages creativity by getting into pattern arrangements, which is something I’m into, but other knitters I know don’t really do—think this could really help people who so far have just be following patterns, but want to be more creative, learn how to think about pattern construction. What a lovely book! Would recommend for anyone who’s a confident chart reader.

Beautiful and inspiring
This is such a great book if you like complex, thoughtful knitting. There are so many different stitch patterns, and some ideas about how to use them. Total delight and I'm now surrounded by samples. My only reservation is the size of some of the symbols - even with my glasses on I'm struggling to tell the difference between some variations.

New inspiration for advanced knitters!
Perfect book for knitters! I would say its for advanced knitters more 😊 Japanese knitting can be challenging, but its has gorgeous stitches. Designs are innovative and elegant. A lot different patterns, lacy patterns, overall patterns and crossing stitches, round yokes, edgings.in the last pages perfect explanation ( with pic) of "how to knit these symbols". Love this book! Highly recommended!❤️

Exquisite stitch patterns
Had my eye on this book for a while. Wish I had ordered it when I first spotted it. Such beautiful intricate stitch patterns and so many of them! Definitely not for the beginner The only flaw is that the grid patterns are very small. I can see that I will have to photocopy them and enlarge them to use them but it would be worth it. Worth every penny!

Das Buch umfaßt eine Vielzahl verschiedener Strickmuster. Es gibt Zopfmuster, Rechts- und Links- Muster und Spitzenmuster. Sie werden in sehr verständlicher Strickschrift dargeboten. Was unterscheidet das Buch also von anderen?

Probably did read the description well, but I expected a hard cover. It is soft cover.

I don’t think I’ve been so excited about a stitch dictionary. What a beautiful selection of inspiring patterns! Incredible texture and intricacy! Every sample seems entirely doable with the detailed symbol guide. Love it!
