Cable kit and handles were fine but the brakes themselves would not hold the tension in the brake cable after a little use. Tried tightening multiple times but screw does not tighten

I was apprehensive about the quality of the brakes because of how many items they provide for such an affordable price. I bought my first mountain bike which it is a used bike hence the need for new brakes. Everything fit as it should and the brakes work as one would expect. I would like to mention one thing that might be helpful in future would be instructions on how to properly install what came in the box. I would have just used my old brakes as a reference but there were a number of missing components. I would recommend trying their bicycle brakes.
