Great to have when you’re going out somewhere and you’ve got cold drinks and sandwiches when you arrive at your destination

I bought these freezer blocks specifically to help cool down my fish tanks during the recent heatwaves, and they’ve been an absolute lifesaver. Once frozen, they stay cold for a good amount of time. I pop them into ziplock bags and float them in the tanks (never directly in the water) whenever the temperature starts creeping up. They bring the temperature down gradually and safely, without stressing the fish. They’re reusable, don’t leak or sweat much, and freeze quickly—perfect for rotating throughout the day if needed. I also appreciate that they’re compact enough to fit around the tank without being bulky. If you’re an aquarium keeper worried about rising temps in the summer, these are a super handy, low-tech solution. Highly recommend!

Thought I would take a punt on these as reviews are fairly positive and they are cheap in comparison to other similar products with similar reviews. They arrived undamaged but I was a little concerned that the stoppers on 3 of the units did not appear to be seated correctly, however, they do appear to be firmly in place - I didn't apply too much pressure for fear of breaking them off. The body of the units seem very thin and I would thinking putting too much pressure on them when unfrozen could cause them to split. On first freeze, as others have reported, a couple of the units have a strange localised small bulge on them but otherwise all seems ok. They radiate a lot of cold so that seems good... will be using them in action this weekend so will see how well they last.

I work 12 hour shifts and got these for my insulated lunch bag and let me tell you, this kept all my food and drinks still fully cold by the time I was 10 hours into my shift (I don’t like using a fridge that’s not my own so I wanted something that would keep my food and drinks cold and fresh through my shift). They’re the perfect size for lunch boxes, picnic bags etc and fit perfectly in the freezer, also light weight. I can’t believe I never owned these before.

Upon delivery the lid on one of the blocks was loose, meaning some of the liquid inside had come out. Still about 2/3rds full and still works okay as a freezer block. The quality of the product otherwise seems to be good.

My silly self didn’t check the dimensions as I needed much larger ones than these, they are the same size as McDonald’s cheese slice. Still a good product and can use in the kids lunch boxes. Not ideal for larger lunch boxes. Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this because it was only £4.99 and was amazons choice.
