I was given this older 1102w printer, never had a Laserjet. The cartridge in it was working, the print seemed a bit light. Decided to try the non OEM double pack and I am impressed so far. The quality of print is actually better/darker than the original and there were no hiccups. I did some looking into it and whatever you do, don't download new firmware as it may make it harder to use the non OEM cartridges. I also did a factory reset of the printer to be on the safe side, reinstalled the printer with original software and now we'll see how long it lasts. I don't print that much but when I do print, it's usually a fair amount so the big benefit is that the laserjet will hold up after long periods of inactivity. I'm just really glad the double pack has worked. For those reviews that had issues, I would bet it's newer or has updated firmware which is basically HP code for watching out for non OEM cartridges.

I am very happy with the quality of the cartridges. This is a great value at a great price. I will be a repeat customer.

Great replacement and good price compared to other brands. It does work well on our HP printer 1102

So far, so good. I've only printed a few pages up to this point and its quality equals HP's cartridge. I would absolutely recommend it.
