Keeping it real reviews.
First off, if you're honest with your expectations this is an excellent buy. It's a shed that shows up in your driveway in two boxes that weigh about the same as a casket. It costs around $400 for an 8x10 shed, so yeah it is thin sheet metal (somewhere between 32 and 30 gauge I'd say) First thing you need to is inspect the boxes. If they look like they have been thrown off a bridge, return them. If there are a few small scrapes, dings, you're probably fine. The last thing you want to do is get all the parts (there are many, many parts) unboxed in your yard and then have to repackage all of it because something is damaged. Secondly, inventory every single item. Lay it all out and make sure you physically see each part on the list. Plan for assembly to take a full day or two healthy half days if you do this by yourself. On that note, if this is the first thing you have built, you will have a tough time with this. Ask a friend who has experience doing manly things to help. No one part of this is super difficult, but it is alot of assembly, and the instructions are vague in a few areas. Study the pictures carefully. The diagram on the doors is by far the worst. In fact they are flat out misleading. Now to the plastic. Every panel is securely covered in this surane wrapish plastic. Remove it if you wish, but add an extra half day to your build. After peeling two panels, I decided to see what mother nature can do and started building. I'm convinced that alot of these bad reviews are due to people not knowing how to put something together properly. The one lady that left a video about the doors not staying closed. The kit comes with two latches for the top and bottom of the left door to keep what she posted from happening. It is clear that whoever put her shed together did not install the two latches. The doors on my kit lined up near perfect, and are secure. You just have to use a little care and common sense putting this thing together and I can't imagine any normal person not having their expectations exceeded. After fully assembled, it is quite a bit more robust than I expected for the price. Very satisfied with it. Last thing, the only additional tools you'll want is a decent handheld ratcheting screw driver. You can try a power drill(driver) if you want, but I found it more trouble than it was worth. These screws are all fairly short. Also, there is a fine line between a screw that is too loose, and one that strips the hole. A 6ft ladder will be handy for installing the roof panels.

Worst purchase on Amazon ever
This is by far the worst purchase I have ever bought on Amazon. I was sent 2 bent sheds. When I finally started putting it together it is missing pieces. Parts were bent, screws were missing. Parts were mislabeled so the entire time I had to put something together only to find out the part was mislabeled. They put all the screws of the majority of the screws in one package without labels leaving you to guess what screw was needed. The doors do not line up despite the shed being on a level surface. I had to go to Home Depot to buy multiple parts to make the simplest things work. The instructions are a joke and are poorly written and printed. The screws for the door hinges do not fasten. Despite trying to make this shed work it was by far the worst purchase on Amazon I have ever made. Do not purchase.

Great buy!
This is a great buy if your looking for an inexpensive shed. Did it have some scratches and dents sure but you get what you pay for and this was perfect! Using it as an outdoor garden shed with basic holiday totes and garden stuff. The shed isn't strong enough to put a real lock so don't put grandma's jewels in there, however it's perfect as a basic backyard shed. I put it together alone although not impossible def would be easier and faster with a buddy. I wouldn't have done the roof the way they suggested but rather start on one end and do the ridge as you go. Therefore your not trying to screw the ridge while hanging off the side of the roof. The doors were little confusing so def pay attention to those! Very glad they gave extra screws bc I def lost a bunch along the way! Do yourself a favor and before you start, take all the plastic off. I did this the night before and legit took about 2-3 hours! Huge time saver before you actually start. Finally, if your not someone who puts stuff together this DIT is not for the faint of hearts. Lots of patience and reading is needed! Overall once I was done, I was impressed at how strong it felt! Great quality for the value!! I have some pics and left the doors off bc it rained so I was letting air out, I also built it up due to the water where I live. Once everything dries, I plan to lay another layer of OSB over the frame on the floor for more support.

PITA to put together
I got this in the time allotted. It was in 2 boxes, not a problem. The day we start, we have 5 people here to help. We’ve purchased gloves and goggles and are ready. I’ve done some building, I’ve got some pretty good knowledge of basics and a little more. In my human opinion, an alien wrote these instructions. An alien programmed the machine to predrill the holes that are supposed to be there. Some holes are there, some aren’t. The screws are WAY too short in many places. This is possibly the most confusing, most annoying and honestly the most baffling POS I’ve ever encountered. It took 4+ people 3 days to complete the build. You must stick with it and get ample siding on or it will fall plum damn over on ya. It’ll take 2 people just to hold the frikkin thing up while 2 others get the monkey business screwed on. Rest assured, if you’re broke like me or really want a puzzle that Shelton Cooper would complain about incessantly, this IS your shed. 1 1/2 months in and half my roof screws are gone, my door is so lopsided I pinch my dadgum fingers when I try to shut it and I’ll have a monster of a time repairing all of the missing corners so I don’t slice and dice my body while walking by. I do love that it is put together. I do love that I have a cover for whatever the weather brings, just hopefully no wind. I do not love the build.
