Best boots (and only boots I ever had to buy)
I bought these Timbs in 2015 for snow hikingIt’s 2023 and other than some superglue bc I messed up the sole, these are my go to heavy duty boots for hiking and trekking. I’ve taken these to Israel, India, around various trails and they can handle the rough and tumble. The laces are a bit too long and you can trip over them but other than that the best boots I ever bought

The quality of the leather looks better and even more durable in person
One of the more stylish traditionally constructed boots from Timberland that I've encountered - certainly more so than the more traditional work-boot style Timberland is known for. I have no problems dressing this one up for the urban jungle, or dressing down for outdoor field duty (like as a gentlemen's hunting boot). The quality of the leather looks better and even more durable in person. The other usual features are present like a fully stitched, glued, and welted sole (waterproof), fully gusseted tongue to keep water/snow/ice/dirt/mud out of the boot, high quality eyelets and some of the toughest lacing hooks I've seen on a boot of this style. The outsole is a stickier, but harder, more durable rubber than the usual softer "green rubber" seen so much on Tims now. I expect it will handle ice and snow particularly well. It' seems more like a cross between the soft rubber Timberland usually uses and a tra ditional Vibram material. If you're accustomed to Timberland's sizing, just be careful with this style. Unlike most of the traditional Timberland boots which almost always seem sized generous - about 1/2 size large (for thick socks?) - this one seems to be very true to size. I'm glad I tried on a couple of differrent pairs with different socks in a store before ordering. I re-oiled the leather and it became a much more "true" brown, rather than the greeninsh hue in the pictures.

They're city boots for those of us who like to remain connected to the dirt.
The boots I was replacing, along with most of the other shoes in my closet, are size 12. The one exception is another pair of Timberland boots that are size 11 and too big. With that experience, I decided not to believe the reviews that said the shoes fit as others and purchased these in size 11. They fit perfectly. My experience has been that Timberland boots run bigger than they say.(I wear a custom footbed, so can't speak to the arch support.)They fit so well that they are my daily wear shoe. I have a service dog and live in the NW, which means even in the nice weather, I still traipse through neighbors' yards to pick up poo. When it rains, as it does here, it's even worse. I need a waterproof shoe. I have different boots for the mudd hikes, but have worn these in a few serious storms already. In one, the path from bus to home required walking through ankle deep water. That's not normal use, but they kept my feet dry and suffered no damage. The shape of the boot means most of us have to undo at least a couple rows of shoelace to get in and out. My previous boots had eyelets all the way to the top which was a pain to undo and redo, especially if they have to get changed more than once a day. I eventually had the top three eyelets replaced with hooks, so I'm really happy these boots come like that. I wish it was three eyes deep, but the two they give us work for me and I have an ankle shape that makes boots especially hard. These should be easy for everyone.Did I tell you how comfortable these are? They have the protection and little bit of support I'm looking for in a lightweight boot without being clodhoppers. I don't feel like I'm wearing boots when I'm in them. This time of year, I walk up to six miles a day and my feet, knees, and back feel great during and after.I'd wear these boots for chopping firewood, but they probably wouldn't be my first choice for pulling logs out of a muddy creek bed. They're city boots, but they're city boots that can hop a fence to chase the dog's ball out of a neighbor's overgrown yard. They're city boots that can climb a tree or plant one. They're city boots for those of us who like to remain connected to the dirt.

2 weeks of ownership. Lightweight, stylish, high cost.
Pros:Lightweight. As a track sprinter I like to feel fast at all times so I can't stand heavy footwear! All boots I've had in the past have been significantly heavier so this is a major pro for me.Waterproof.. so far.2 weeks in with no penetration. I live in an area that gets A LOT of snow.Good grip.I've yet to slip in snow or on ice, the sole pattern is much better than the traditional in terms of grip.Comfort and noise. These are the first pair of boots I can feel sneaky in. No CLUNK CLUNK or SQUEAKS with these. There's a good amount of cushion in the heel making these great for walking.Cons:Not insulated.Of course they don't claim to be, but my feet get cold in these real quick. If outside in the cold for an extended period of time, wool socks is a must.Cost.I paid $155 for these and feel I paid too much. I bought these in a rush and have since found other boots that fit my needs for much less. Love the boots, but I always feel I paid too much. Conclusion:Good quality boots, I feel good when wearing these. When these boots wear out I would not purchase these again however, because I expect a little more from a $175 price tag.

Nice design, very comfortable but the sole is starting ...
Nice design, very comfortable but the sole is starting to peel after less than 8 months of use. I have other Timberland Boots that I still use after 6 years! These are more of a disappointment unfortunately.

High quality winter walking boots
Boot fit is perfect, my size is 8.5 but trying to find boots in that size is like looking for a needle in 10 haystacks! The seller NuWave shipped from the USA and I received the boots in 5 days. Delivery was impressive and inclusive in the price I paid, so very happy with the service. The boots themselves are high quality, the stitching and material used is superb. I have only had them a few days and they have just broken in, but for a few days they will be stiff, after a couple of days they feel really comfortable. For one of the days I walked in some heavy rain and not a drop got in to the boots. The tread on the soles is decent, seems to be standard pattern with the Timberland boots. How tough the material is and how long the soles last is going to be a test of time, can't really comment as I have only worn them a few days. I have some Timberland wax for the boots to keep the leather in good condition, which I highly recommend you buy if you are considering buying these boots, well worth the couple of quid in the long run.

Comode e calde
