Good camera to learn on.
I have had this camera for a year now and have been really enjoying it. It took me some time to get the lenses I need to add to really get the photos I was hoping for. The basic camera gives you basic pictures. I mostly use the automatic settings and have a lot to learn still. But overall this was a good affordable way to get started with a DSLR camera.

So many accesories! Got for Daughter for Christmas. Came highly recommended from a photographer friend. So much more (in a great way) than exppected. Love it.

Great beginner camera
Great camera. I took a beginner photography class, and it was perfect for my purposes. I shot a lot in manual mode, and it was really easy to figure out the features I needed to use. Don't get fooled by the picture though. I thought it came with 2 lenses but I didn't read the description fully so that was my bad.

Great first SLR to learn with
Really enjoying this camera , does everything you want it to plus more ! Some of the extra goodies it comes with are kinda cheap , and the two little tripods are virtually useless . But overall it's worth the extra money to get the straps and cleaners with the camera and not have to buy them separately . The camera bag is a nice addition too , although a little small . I read some reviews and saw some things on YouTube before I bought it that said some thought the plastic body was cheap and were concerned ; I've had no issues with durability , and I've taken it on several road trips already . I suggest you purchase a 50mm 1.8 lens to go with it ; a simple lens to use with no zoom function that can be used in lots of situations . Add some free Photoshop software to a laptop or PC to edit your photos and off you go ! Picture quality can be excellent , depending on lens choice and camera settings ; be sure you're using an auto focus lens like the Canon 18-55mm it comes with . I suggest some YouTube tutorials to begin with . Battery life is great - I've shot outside all day long , hundreds of photos per shoot and if you started with a fully charged battery , your fine .
