Mes Confitures: The Jams and Jellies of Christine Ferber

I have made the most wonderful jams using this book. The flavours are inspired, for example Ferber uses lemongrass with raspberries/strawberries- the lemongrass gives the berries a clean, fresh taste, without really being detectable, just giving you an amazing fresh-tasting raspberry or strawberry jam. Some of the recipes rely on ingredients in Alsace that cannot readily be sourced in the UK at a high quality. Nonetheless, there are many, many recipes in the book so one can have a go at most of them in a British kitchen. The recipes are helpfully arranged by season to help you get the best-tasting jams when fruit are at their best.

Plenty of new and interesting recipes.

The book well written and give both metric and US cups measurements. Unusual recipes that make you think, and a very different way of making jam using macerating methods that I had never thought of doing. This is a lovely book full of lovely ideas would be suitable for anyone interested in making different jams.

This book is the "JAM BIBLE" among the food world. I discovered it through best international food blog and I did most recipes on the book. This method is so peculiar that is called "the Ferber method" and I assure you that is very easy and no-fuss at all. you can even make just one single jar, but the result will be perfect! Highly recommended

This book is amazing - i cant get enough of christine ferbers jams, they are sublime , great recipes in fact the book has toms of recipes, brilliant - we need a christine ferber jam shop in the UK !

full of 'different' ideas and recipes for smaller quantities - useful if you wanted to make something luxurious for a experiment, treat or gift

A must have for jam maker.
