Excelent
They were stronger than I thought they would be, easy to install and even came with a drill bit. The textured handles insure a firm grip. I think they could hold up 500 lbs.

Good quality, great price, easy install!
I placed the 2 just outside the shower/tub where the flange had to be under the standard 3" - these are 2.3". I had no issues with the install as I made sure to drill into studs that I located beforehand. They should be perfect for additional assistance getting in and out of the tub and off the toilet in the downstairs bath. No issues with craftsmanship or quality as some reviewers posted. And for the price, what a bargain. I'm happy!

Would buy again.
Purchased and installed for a neighbor who was struggling to transition in and out of the shower. Easy to install, good quality, good grip.

Works well—with some caveats
These bars are more than strong enough for grab bars. They're relatively lightweight, but don't confuse weight with strength. Many reviewers warned not to use the included screws or anchors, so I didn't even try those. I used some #10 x 3.5" drywall screws that I had on hand. Since I was screwing it to a wooden doorframe between the storm door and the main door, I didn't need anchors. On my first attempt, I attached the bar to the doorknob side of the doorframe, but the bar interfered with the doorknob, so I couldn't close the door. I moved the bar to the hinge side of the doorframe, and it worked fine. I tried marking all the screw hole locations first, then drilling all the holes, and putting in the screws last, but it was very difficult to hold the bar still while marking the hole locations, so some of them didn't line up. It worked better to mark, drill, and screw the highest screwhole first, then the bottom, and then the rest.

Elderly safety bar, good quality.
A must have for the elderly. Perfect for home use. Thinner design than commercial options. Plenty strong and saves space to help for tighter areas and less noticeable.
