Exactly what I needed
My old stereo had Bluetooth but not Apple/android CarPlay; therefore I upgraded with this unit. I absolutely love this unit. Is it perfect? No, but for the price; this is a GREAT buy! Apple car play and Android auto work great. During phone calls people sometimes ask me to repeat myself, but I think that’s more my loud car not the unit. The only potential con is the time it takes to power on. The loading screen takes a few seconds to get to the Home Screen. Also the mounting bracket didn’t work for my car. (Wasn’t a deal breaker)

Great headunit with features more pricy ones have
Installed this on my 2008 Audi TT. Works well! I paired it with a Skar 12in sub and it sounds amazing!. The outputs are high enough wattage to drive my mids and tweeters in the car. I will say depending on a few things. Right around 30 volume is the cutoff for sound. After that it can blow your speakers (depending on settings, amp, and speaker wattage). CarPlay works great! It is wireless by the way so turn on the car and it pairs right away. Also a good heads up. This unit comes with an outer plastic piece that’s clipped in on the outer front of the headunit, and can be taken off to fit dash mounts easier. Had no clue of this, and had already used a dremel to fit it in my dash mount, only realised when I went to push it all in. The power button with one tap also doubles as the mute button. Overall great bang for your buck compared to other headunits out there. Way higher wattage output for better sound in higher end audio systems.

Good sound, solid performance.
Overall a great head unit for the money. Sounds better than the kenwood single DIN I replaced and natively integrated with my car’s OEM amp. Wireless carplay has been mostly reliable aside from a couple of hiccups on longer drives, where it may disconnect and require restart. I really wish this head unit included some form of intelligent dark mode at night to lower the brightness appropriately at specific timeframes or ideally when my headlights are on. Punches way above its budget, just not quite perfect.

its going back.
The unit is fine, but has some quirks for sure.. First, installation instructions were lacking. The documentation online helped. The unit is beautiful and looks great in the yukon (2007-2013). The install kit was a must. With a swc kit it interfaces wonderfully to the cars steering wheel and rear control. The included microphone was easy to install on the a pillar for phone calls and does a reasonable job canceling noise, but I don't see a way to adjust gain so you kinda have to shout. And then the bad stuff: Has difficulty switching between carplay and android auto. No ability to "designate" a primary or priority device so when my wife and I get in the car it tends to always pick apple before android and that's super frustrating because she has to then turn off wifi and Bluetooth on her phone before I can connect. Sometimes the system is just muted and doesn't unmute unless you press and hold the onstar button and then cancel onstar. The screen is a bit too reflective and at the angle installed in a 2007-2013 yukon it catches a lot of light from street lights while you drive. Updated 4 days later. The unit freezes constantly. It's unusable since the only way to reset after freezing is to turn off the car. Sending it back.

Don't buy!!!
Easy to use, great sound quality, easy to install, you get a lot for what you pay. I've been using this for a couple years now, Android Auto is very glitchy. When it does connect, half the time, volume up or down won't work, sometimes you won't get sound at all. Bluetooth gets disconnected sometimes. This would be a great unit, if it wasnt because the software is very glitchy, it looks good, it sounds loud but, that's only when you can get it to work. Very Disappointed!! Pay a little for something better. You will regret it down the line, unles I got a defective unit.

Great Value
This thing is amazing for $200. The touch screen is not as sensitive as a new smartphone, but is still very adequate and responsive. There are so many useful settings built in, as well as very nice eq adjustments and presets. This head unit drives 4 6x8 75w speakers very nicely. When using Apple CarPlay there is a small delay between the phone and head unit, this is only noticeable if you are trying to watch a video on your phone with car audio, although that could be CarPlay itself, or the fact I use it with my phone wirelessly. The head unit takes only a few seconds to boot up straight into CarPlay. I wish this head unit had a knob for volume instead of individual buttons. At night, I find the screen to be a little too bright with the night-brightness turned as low as it could go. Many of the issues I have are very nit-picky, but let’s be real, for $200 I can forgive them.

You Cheaper and You Know It
It's a cheap unit and that shows by the frequent dropping of the Android Auto signal. I figure this must be due to a weak Wi-Fi signal it establishes during Android Auto connection. Imagine, jamming your song, singing along, then you go Acapella, realizing the unit lost the Android Auto signal. Sure, it USUALLY reconnects, but drops just as you get to your favorite verse. I will say, it has stood up to the smacks it's gotten as a result of these failures, so one star for that. The other two are for when it works. When it is not dropping, it's a nice experience for the cheap Android Auto. However, I'm probably leaning towards disconnecting the Andro Auto and simply using it as a simple Bluetooth receiver. I run my Android and split screen with Google maps and YouTube music on my phone when I ride my motorcycles, and always have in my car before this unit. Considering I bought this unit specifically for the Android Auto, and I do like the fact that I can run the split screen on that that I'm used to, but it doesn't even show me the speed I'm traveling at in Google maps as I've gotten used to looking at that, it seems like I should have just bought a cheaper, Bluetooth only connected head unit for the car.
