Cuttlebone Bites

Calcium for parakeet. He will not use a cuttle bone. I use a mortar and pestle to grind these bits (with other supplements) into a fine powder and add to his seed blend. He has a very healthy beak and feet, and this supports his molting as well.

My isopods love it, it's easy for them to eat they seem to eat this more than their whole cuttlebone and these done get funky because they're smaller

I got this crushed cuttlebone for my bird that was laying eggs. She doesn’t like to leave the bottom of the cage when she’s nesting to go chew on the larger cuttlebone that’s attached to the cage. So I put this around her and it seems to help her want to eat it. Super easy to use. It came in a box in a sealed bag. The only I wish is that it were in a resealable container because a box with a now opened bag can be messy. Great price for how much you get.

I gave the crushed sepia king 5 stars because the pieces are pretty big. I’ve ordered crushed from another company and it was tiny pieces and dust. I usually break them up myself but this was very convenient😂. I will order again for my turtles.

its easy to use but my shrimp aint to fond of it as some people recommended it just turned into mush and had a film over it

I noticed my bird started to eat his own poop and that can indicate a calcium deficiency. He has a cuttlefish bone in his cage but he doesn’t seem to notice it anymore. I also got him a calcium perch and he never chews on it- honestly I don’t think I’ve even seen him touch it. Then I found these little morsels!!! Perfect for crumbling into his pellets. He doesn’t seem to mind the taste of them, and I can break them into small enough pieces that I know it’s safe. Worth the money for a healthy bird!
