Super easy to replace. Took me one minute to switch out the old to the new with a unique tool. SO COOL. The fit was so perfect, the seal laid in like it was never removed. If you have the blue headphones, the black with the purple insides make them look way better than before. I like the material better than the leather. No lost in sound quality. Make the switch

Removing the old pads is not hard but it's isn't easy. Their plastic tool broke very quickly before I had half of the first pad off. I switched to flat metal end of nail clipper, and was fine. Do watch removal video. When putting new upgraded gel pad on, make sure line up the little dot/bump and press the clips in , try from the inside under the memory pad, where the opening area is. I could feel the clip and made it easier to push each one in. I can tell that it is a cooler pad but it's just a little better. Not major. No instructions in the bag. The surface touching your skin is not PU-leather, but a microfiber like cloth. Breathes a bit better. Old ones used to get sweaty after hours. I'd get it again. But I would save money on the blue plastic tool. There are others without it for less. I do like the gel pad feel. Worth the $ 14.. Pads 5, tool 0..

Snapping off the old cushions was a little harder than expected but aside from that they were easy to switch out. Had these headphones about 2 years and they still work great with daily use but the cushions started to crack from constant use. Now they are smooth and comfy again.

Easy application and direct fitment.

Very affordable replacement. The pry tool for taking the old pads out was pretty weak and almost broke, but we managed to get them out. You also have to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the pads to click in. Overall, very worth it 👍

UPDATE TO REVIEW: I changed my review from 3 to 5 stars due to customer service outreach. After my original review, I was contacted by the company to apologize for the inconvenience and offer a full refund for the product. I would definitely order again as long as the ear pieces are easier to install than my previous experience. Very comfortable. I haven't noticed any changes with noise cancelling or sound function with these ear pads. My biggest issue was installation. The little circle pin does not line up like the ones that come on the headphones. One earpad arrived with a broken plastic clip. The only way I could get them installed properly was to take the padding off and put them on the plastic insert that came with the headphones.

Beautiful! The earphone pads arrived on time. The old pads had split and were coming apart. I replaced the old pads with the new ones in minutes.

EDIT: Seller reached out with an apology, generously offered to make things right, and followed through immediately. I would definitely buy from this company again. The ear pads themselves are much more comfortable than the Sony originals. ORIGINAL REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Easy to install, but not noise cancelling. What you currently hear as ambient sound is what you’ll now hear when the headphones are set to noise cancelling. They’re very comfortable, though.
