I lie down and use my iPad and so this is perfect, I can keep it on my tummy and watch movies it keeps the iPad stable plus it’s soft so very comfortable all in all.

I've had this for 2 years now and it's just brilliant. I use it nearly every day. Was definitely worth spending a bit extra. It just sits there and holds my phone at any angle I want. I have arthritic hands and it's a game changer.

I have mobility issues in my hands due to a long-standing repetitive stress injury (RSI). Holding my iPhone is not possible for me when I am having a flare up. In addition to the hands issue, I also have shoulder, neck, and back pain that lead to headaches from looking down at my phone or computer too much, so I do my best to find solutions that make it easier to see my phone so I’m not looking down too much. I already have a lap desk that is okay, but I need an extra pillow underneath to bring it to an acceptable height where I’m not looking down. Due to my recent RSI flare up I started looking for a phone holder where I could see my phone without looking down while sitting on the couch hanging out with my husband and watching TV. I saw a bunch of gooseneck options (tried it don’t love it, not stable enough) and other lap desks. I also saw some funky little iphone pillows that looked interesting but still didn’t meet my requirements for being at eye level. At some point I stumbled across the Saiji lap pillow. I ordered the mini and the cell phone holder size to try both out because I couldn’t quite tell what size I wanted. This, people, is what I have been looking for!! I am reviewing the cell phone holder size: It’s very light and comfortable. It sits lightly on my lap with enough height that I do not have to look down. The grip is very strong and holds my iPhone XR wherever I put it. I also tried it on a new iPhone 14 pro max, which is 2 oz heavier than the XR, and it holds it well!! You need to pay better attention to the positioning of the arm with the heavier one or the weight can cause it to droop a little, but not in a way that takes away from the use of the pillow. So let’s talk about that arm and grip! They are extremely extensible. The grip goes side to side, a limited range of up and down, and twists 360 degrees for whatever position you want your iPhone to be in. The arm can go straight up, bend backward or forward, up or down at the center, and also bends back and forward at the base! Whether I am on the couch, in bed, sitting up straight or slouching, I can find a position to accommodate my holy grail: iphone at eye-level without looking down or holding it. Neither the arm nor grip moves in 3d though so some may notice that part - not an issue for me. I got the orange color and it is stylish and happy looking. In addition to all that, the “desk” part of the pillow, the white part up top, is firm enough to rest my elbows on if I am typing on the iPhone and seems to wipe off pretty easily. There is also a little edge on the desk that prevents an iPad from slipping if you are using your iPad on this too. (Note - the grip will not open wide enough for an iPad, but they have a different product for that). About the mini: the mini laptop pillow is okay! It doesn’t have quite enough height to keep me from looking down and its arm is not as extensible as the larger one, but if I had just bought that one I would have known it was a good enough product to buy the taller one!! The balance of both the mini and the larger one is awesome. Very sturdy. The fabric part is removable and washable, which is good because I already have a smudge on it, but I haven’t yet washed it because I’m too busy using it. I rarely write reviews but in this case, I had been looking for some time for a product like this, and it worked so well that I want other people with the same neck, shoulder, back, and hand issues who are looking for solutions to know that this worked extremely well for me!!! It is very well made. I would recommend to a friend and would buy it again. In fact, I am going to buy the laptop one for reading physical books and when I want to work on my laptop. Everyone’s individual use case may be unique and this might not be the right thing for every person - but it was 100% the right tool for me! YMMV but definitely worth giving it a shot.

This phone stand is a lifesaver! It’s adjustable, super sturdy, and ensures great posture. Perfect for video calls and watching videos. Highly recommend for better comfort and ergonomics!

Bought this for my elbow surgery recovery. It worked very well. It can hold a phone in almost any position. The unit is lightweight and easily carried with one arm. The pillow is great to rest on your belly or any other surface. It can get a little top heavy with a phone but I didn’t find it to be overly problematic.
