The 3rd party delivery people were very pleasant and brought the sofa into the living room, unboxed, assembled, and cleaned up the packaging. It was a great experience. The sofa feels very high end and seems well built. It is solid and there isn't any squeaking or flexing of the frame. The leather cushions have a just right firmness and the couch is comfortable to sit on. The color is accurate to the listing photos and the smell of the leather is quite nice without being overpowering. My only nitpick would be that the leather is so soft and smooth that you may find your behind sliding if you have a tendency to slouch. I liked the couch and the leather so much that I ended up buying some home theater seating as well from the same company (Valencia) so I can lounge away on that! Highly recommend

To answer your probable first question: Yes, it does look this good in person. There are tons of too-good-to-be-true online furniture outfits, but Valencia is the real deal. This was my first major online furniture purchase, and Valencia was proactive and responsive in a way that I have never experienced with an Amazon-based retailer, continuously in communication via phone and chat, preempting any questions I might have had about shipping and logistics. Valencia kept me updated regularly with the status of my shipment, which took about 2 weeks to arrive. I knew when my sofa was in transit and at our local freight hub. They worked with me to coordinate a delivery to my rural area, which the third-party carrier honored. Valencia highly recommends having another able-bodied person on standby to help move the sofa when it arrives; the carrier is only expected to unload it via liftgate. My carrier was kind enough to dolly it to my front porch, but don't count on it. This is a large piece, securely boxed in sturdy corrugate. Due to the design of the sofa, because all of the cushions are removable, the box is able to fit through narrow doorways. But it is heavy and full-length; you will need a helper to move it and will want one, ideally, to help unbox it. Construction is solid, and assembly is very quick and easy. The wood base and legs are solid and handsome, and the leather is thick, real, and consistent. It has only the faintest leather aroma (I'd prefer a bit more), but it is buttery soft and well upholstered; none of the seams or stitching are stressed, and the cushions fit snugly in their intended arrangement. As some reviewers have remarked: the sofa is firm, but not unyielding. The cushions are a dense foam wrapped with a layer of thick batting. From the outset, it is not soft enough in my opinion for comfortable laying/lounging, but in the few months I have enjoyed it, it is beginning to break in. With an ottoman, it provides fantastic upright seating for a very comfortable reading posture. I expect that over many years, the sofa will soften, begin to show a slight patina, and the cushions will yield a bit to accommodate my preferred seating positions. Frankly, I prefer that scenario to a sofa that is soft from the outset but entirely unsupported after break-in. All in all, if you're like me, you are eyeing this sofa because you love its aesthetics and attracted by the pricing, which is neither too high to stomach nor too low to possibly equate to a quality product. Indeed, this is a piece that exudes craftsmanship, and Valencia does a best-in-class job of facilitating its sale, transit, and care. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, comfortable, solid, piece of furniture. Found it elsewhere for much higher prices and was thrilled to find it here with quick shipping and delivery. Make sure you get the Special Delivery because it comes completely packaged in a huge, heavy box and there’s no moving it on your own. No problems putting it together but keep track of the hardware because they don’t include extra. It easily converts into a nice bed- just remove the back cushions and one of the side cushions.

This mid-century modern sofa is well-made with thick leather that looks, feels, and smells like quality. I was hoping for a more firm sofa rather than one that you sink into. That’s exactly what I got. It was very well packed. The legs came stored inside the underside of the sofa which Velcro’s in place. I was impressed how well it was packed for shipping.

After searching locally and online, and after reading many reviews, I decided to give this couch a try. The delivery was ok. They bring the huge box inside, unpack the couch, then take the box away. It was up to me to put the couch together, which was simple. For shipping purposes, the manufacturer put parts in a zippered area inside the couch under the seat. Once you’ve removed all of the pieces you can just zip that area up. Smart! The couch is heavy! I thought I would need help getting it on its feet without breaking the legs, but I managed. Assembly involves screwing on 5 legs (center support leg is the fifth) and putting the pillows in place. The pillows have Velcro and zippers to keep the in place. I didn’t use the zippers and it seems fine so far. The couch is comfortable. The cushions are a bit stiff, as you might expect from a new couch, but not so much that it would prevent you from falling asleep on them. I did. The only thing I’m not happy about is the color of the legs and wood accent. Too yellow! I was so unhappy about it that I almost sent the couch back, but I decided to keep it. I can darken the wood later. (Helps to be handy.) If it weren’t for the color of the wood I’d give it 5 stars.

Recently purchased the Artisan leather sofa, loveseat and chair. I’m incredibly happy with the quality and workmanship! I was first attracted to the gorgeous cognac color and that it was advertised as pet scratch free. What’s even more impressive is how comfortable the couch is especially the side cushions when lying down. I highly recommend Valencia to all my friends and family! I also have to commend Valencia for their excellent customer service - I received a call before the shipment and after to ensure all delivered with no issues. I absolutely love my new leather set. Never thought to buy a couch off Amazon. But I’m so happy I did. Valencia’s customer service is amazing. They personally called me when I placed the order to go over delivery. Once the couch was delivered got another call to go over warranty. Then a few weeks after having it another call to see how I liked it. No one else does that. This couch is beautiful. The quality is a 5/5. It’s a little firm but not hard and uncomfortable. Goes perfectly in our new house. Best couch purchase to date.

I like the high quality leather, solid stitching, design, solid wood frame, and colour(Made in Malaysia). I was made aware that once sofa is delivered/placed at the door, I have to open the box and do all the setup. It's a good buy.
