I know, I know. The description clearly states that these adapters are compatible with the Stanley Classic line of thermoses, but the word 'classic' can be quite ambiguous. I initially understood it to mean the traditional Stanley thermoses, which are indeed considered 'classic' in the industry. Yes, the description includes a few pictures showing which thermoses these adapters are compatible with. However, it fails to explicitly warn that these adapters are not compatible with the Master Series thermoses. Many other products on Amazon clearly describe and illustrate the products they are incompatible with, and this could easily be done for this product as well. This is unfortunate because the Master Series thermoses have double the insulation compared to the 'classic' thermoses. This means that if you could use these adapters on a Master Series thermos, you could enjoy your mate for 8 hours instead of just 4, without losing any heat 'beat'. That said, the biggest selling point for me was that these adapters are made with BPA-free materials. Although I have no way to verify this, I trust that the seller wouldn't claim it otherwise. Fortunately, I own three Stanley thermoses, and one of them is a 'classic'. In my video, you can see that these adapters do not fit on a Master Series thermos. In conclusion, I am very happy with these adapters. They pour water at the perfect angle, right into the yerba mate pocket I create when preparing my mate, without making a mess. This is a huge improvement over using a Stanley thermos without an adapter. To any entrepreneurs out there, consider this review a business opportunity to fill a gap in the marketplace. I use the classic Stanley thermos with this pico adapter, paired with a Breville Smart Kettle Luxe BKE845RVC Red Velvet Cake, and together they make the perfect mate machine! Thread is too big on this, it makes scratches on the bottle when you screw it in.
