Fun tool to use to create mixed media art.
Love the product for the price of the money. It is a strong and durable gelplate. Love how quick you can clean it using wet baby wipes. A great quality plate for the money. It’s also very versital in that it can be used to paint acrylic pieces of art, or by creating texture and depth for collage type artworks.it can also be used to create Image transfers.

Packaging problem?
The plates themselves are good, I wanted to comment on how they were stored or packed or shipped; I ordered the 8 x 10 & 5 x 7 together and they were pressed together in such a way that the small one created a permanent indentation in the larger one. Not good. I don’t have enough experience to be able to tell if it’s affecting its performance, but they require care and they’re not cheap. Not sure at which stage the problem was caused, and so I’m not sure if it can be remedied at such a high volume company (Amazon). Gel printing itself is so much fun (but has a learning curve for sure)

Take time to learn how to use effectively
These need to be used several times before they work well. Kind of like priming them. They do eventually work well and are fun to use, but like most art products you need to learn how to use it. Watching videos helped me.

Fun to experiment with
Good quality. Learned quick not to use anything metal at risk of damaging the gel surface. I just flipped it over and problem solved. There is a lot you can do with these babies. Limited only by your imagination - once you understand some basics.

These gel plates are well packaged so they arrive in excellent condition!
I used these at a workshop and honestly thought they would cost more than they do! The sizes are great! smaller for cards, larger for art prints.
