Neat little frame.
It’s so lightweight I’m building a buggy not a crawler out it. Going for more speed.

Perfect Skeleton
This kit is awesome! Easy to follow instructions with plenty of room for clean electronics. The clearances are tight but perfect. Servos will clear the front bar with 1mm to spare and articulate freely. All stock brushed motors will fit tight and well. If you’re going aftermarket brushless, think small. The Micro Komodo is the perfect motor to power this beast. I secured my ECM and receiver to the roof with Velcro and mounting tape. The stock 1/18 batteries fit nicely on the bottom rack with enough room to stuff the extra wiring and connector for a clean look.

Does not fit fat viper motor
Does not fit fat viper. The frame is too narrow and the bolts rub against the motor. The frame is also very small and no room for anything except micro components

Best chassis
I love this chassis. Best one I’ve come across. I have 74x27mm djcrawler tires on it and it doesn’t scrub even flexed out all the way. Highly recommend

Be VERY MINDFUL before purchasing.
DISCLAIMER: I did not purchase this for use in a mini car. If that's what you're explicitly looking for, factor what I'm saying for whether or not you think it will apply to you. The Pros: - The overall design looks cool. - The carbon fiber is sturdy. The Cons and my largely negative experience: - $27 for this kit is ATROCIOUS. Disgustingly expensive. I bought this, because for the price tag, I thought this would be a MUCH bigger chassis, for those larger RC cars. But, this misconception as my fault, as I double checked the store page and they listed measurements in inches. I thought it was feet when I bought. Ooops. Spent almost $30 for something that fits in the palm of my hand. For $30 and carbon fiber, I was expecting something I could comfortably hold between two hands. - The instructions are horrible. Just flat out horrible. The images are just blurry enough to make small details ambiguous. Ok, usually when the images are trash, you can at least reason through based on the labeled part numbers, because you can identify which parts are which by the number of those parts included in the kit. THE IMAGES FOR THE SMALL PARTS (mainly the nuts, spacers, and washers) DON'T EVEN LINE UP IN APPEARANCE OR QUANTITY. So you can't match which gets put where, by the picture, or the label. So have fun mixing and matching. - The screws aren't even phillips head screws. They're hex. The bolts are so small even the screwdriver kit I got for REPAIRING CELL PHONES doesn't even have a hex tip that small. I don't have any allen wrenches small enough for these bolts, and there wasn't one included. I probably have over 7 different screwdrivers and over 20+ tips to browse from. None of them fit. Plus, the heads are smooth. As such I had to tighten this assembly just with finger strength, and twisting where allowable. So while it holds together (enough I will still find some use for it for my project) it only does so loosely. - Some of the carbon fiber panels don't even fit into the slot cutouts. One piece is too thick, and even with gentle hammering, didn't snap into place. Maybe if I filed the wedge thinner it would fit, but I don't want to abrade carbon fiber. Yuck. This listing gets 2 stars just because the materials themselves are decent quality, and it looks cool. Literally everything else about this was horrible, and if I didn't already get rid of packaging and scuff some panels trying to get them to fit, I'd definitely return this and never buy again. Worst $27 I've spent this year. Whenever an expensive kit has wrong quantity or poorly labeled parts, possibly missing tools, but has a BUNCH of branded stickers... it makes you feel like their priorities are messed up. If you've been eyeing this kit... make sure you double triple check measurements, and I hope you have a healthy wallet and a really tiny allen wrench/hex screwdriver.
