Rain Sensor Irrigation Hygroscopic Discs for Rainbird Rain Sensor 16 Pcs

My Hunter Rain Clik water sensor stopped working. I clicked the test button, and it triggered the receiver, so I knew the battery was still good. The unit was 4 years old. After watching some videos and reading up on the topic, I found that the discs were likely defective in the unit. I followed a YouTube video I found that showed me how to replace them step by step. I used 12 of these discs in mine, as many said were needed in the Hunter. I put it back together and it's working like brand new for me. Installation was fairly easy. Good value for these discs and way less than a new unit, which wasn't necessary. I should get 3 to 4 more years out of the unit before the sealed battery dies.

Worked to successfully rejuvenate a Hunter wireless rain-click sensor. The original discs no longer triggered the sensor although they did seem to expand (a little) still when wet. These replacement ones must be thinner than the factory original; I needed to use 12 discs instead of the original 8 to reliably trigger the sensor. Had to experiment, adding one extra at a time until it would trip when wet and still reset when dry. Fortunately this kit came with 16 rather than the 8 most others sell. I no longer have enough for a repeat replacement if needed but it works now!

These work great and fixed my Hunter Sprinkler Clik rain sensor system. Avoids a costly visit by your sprinkler contractor, and while I’m not handy, it was easy to change these by watching a couple of YouTube videos on how to do it. The cork discs are about 1/2 the thickness of the OEM cord discs so I used 12 of the 16 In this order (vs. 8 OEM discs). So if you buy these, best to buy this item which is the 16 disc package (vs. other 8 disc packages).

Perfect size replacement

These replace the original discs in a Rainbird rain sensor and restore original performance. Wish they came with the tiny plastic plunger they fit onto as well. I eventually had my son 3D print a replacement

These are junk. Barely expanded. Still looking for good replacement as rainbird does not sell them. Even tried hydrating some with hot water. No expansion.
