It's single player focused, but Sonic 2 and 3 & Knuckles have some multiplayer aspects.

There's a patch to make it version 2.0 that takes 438 MB out of the 4 gigabyes the game is asking for, and then you use the enclosed code (for any physical copy, not just switch) to activate the DLC.
