It doesn't. You might notice that your arms are raised slightly higher to type because of the rubberised supports at the bottom of the case, but i guess it comes down to personal preferance. The supports are much better than the ones that apple use on their macbook, and are grippier. If you're wondering 'how easy is it to remove?' Very easy, just be careful when unclipping the clips as they potentially are quite delicate. I imagine some people will keep the case on permanently, I would probably be taking it off my macbook when i knew that i would't be relocating my mac very much. With a £40 case you'd expect all the ports to be easily accessible, and they're with plenty of room for all ports, especially for the headphone jack, something I was a little wary of. You would be able to fit an array of all sized jacks in it, so don't worry! It fits an early 2015 13" MacBook Pro (retina) perfectly.I put my laptop into this case almost immediately after buying it and haven't removed it since. The case doesn't constantly come off (unlike cases I have owned in the past) and provides good protection against bumps and scratches. The case would probably protect the laptop from a fall of up 1ft, but I wouldn't push it.
