Well worth it!
Assembly is simple enough taking around an hour, spend the extra time to ensure everything is square and parallel and it will pay off.I recommend tuning the steps/mm (easy to follow guidance all over google) and fitting a waste board and removing a mm or so to ensure a flat bed (I used 6mm MDF and removed 1mm) this helps to create even depth in cuts.For anyone new looking for software, I highly recommend easel inventables, at least to get started in CNC.Something I found that worked real nice for me is to scrap the clamps, I fixed my waste board down with masking tape on the back and masking tape on the base plate and fixed the two together with superglue, I do the same with any material I’m cutting and it’s never failed me.I highly recommend this, very fun to use and the fact you can have something like this for £150 (at time of purchase) is crazy to me!It’s in the listing but note that you only get engraving bits with this, I typically use a 2mm single flute down cut for most my work (a pack of 5 is cheap enough on Amazon)
