Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Forcovr Mini LED Best Multi-Function Portable Indoor Outdoor Stereo Bluetooth Speakers with Bass HD Surround, Built-in Microphone, FM Radio, Handsfree Call, AUX Input Review: Good speakers, great customer service - 4 stars for the speakers, plus 1 for customer service Pros: - Loud, much louder than I would expect from such a small speaker. -Clear sound -Long battery life Cons: -Sometimes if its charging and playing music it amplifies the otherwise barely audible static sound that goes on for some reason. At first I only noticed it at night, until i realized it correlated with charging while playing sound. It varies and in the daytime I can charge and play with barely if at all noticing it, but at night when all is quiet except for the speaker then I can notice it. But the good news is that the battery lasts well through the night and it charges pretty quickly, so it was really only a problem when I didnt know the conditions that resulted in the noticable buzzing sound. I keep it charging and playing during the day though and it sounds fine most all of the time, at least at mid to high volumes. Noteworthy: Usually I dont review stuff, but I got remarkably good customer service for the first time in a long time, and was asked to leave a review so yeah. Basically after 3 months the charger port fell into the unit and I wasnt able to get access to it without a heat gun, and further broke it in the process of trying to get access to the port. Well I guess there is a 3 month warranty which I went over but they are still sending me a new set without the hassle of mailing back the broken unit first. As far as speaker quality, its gotten almost nonstop use over the last 3 1/2 months and the only problem was that charger port. So all in all I recommend these speakers. Review: Buy it. Worth it. It’ll hold you off until you can afford the JAMBOX. Trust me. 😉 - Easy to pair...and even easier to re-pair! No need to “Forget This Device” in Bluetooth settings like so many other devices of yore. Sounds great. Simple functionality. Cute little light show. (And it’s great that you can turn the lights off if you choose - which is easy as can be. Package came whole with everything included. Instructions are less than difficult to read, understand and interpret. I’m not a read-the-instructions type of person (I’m a guy with a computer science) but sometimes I check them out just to be thorough and see how the rest of the world is holding up grammatically. ;-] I will admit that after messing around with my buddy’s Jawbone MINI JAMBOX, I was anticipating a bit more bass in the sound... but then, this device didn’t run me $150 - $200. And make no mistake: This little circular, smaller-than-my-fist Bluetooth baby delivers a sound that leaves the listener surprised, satisfied, curious and in awe... all at the same time. Kinda like seeing a baby in a stroller being pushed through Central Park, and without warning, this newborn breaks into her own impressive rendition of the song “Glory Box” by Portishead (a trip hop group from Bristol, England) and sounding JUST LIKE Beth Gibbons, the lead singer. What I mean is... When you play music through this tiny sound device, you’re caught off guard (in a good way) because what you hear simply does not sound like it’s coming from what you see. Like the baby singing a passionate song that’s so complex with its mature, poetic lyrics and its vocal notes that contradict the bass line to make an ironically beautiful harmony. Surprisingly good speaker
This speaker was my 1st foray into the world of bluetooth speakers. I am surprisingly enamored of this purchase. The device only pairs to one other device at a time, but that's ok. I have it paired with my phone and use it daily. For such a small, cheap speaker, it puts out really nice sound. (But I am not an audiophile. YMMV.) Pros: Small Loud Good sound Fairly easy to use despite having buttons whose uses change depending upon how long/how many times you push them. Cons: Just turning it on puts it in pairing mode. So I have to half re-pair it to my phone every time I use it. It doesn't work well as a speakerphone. Very echoey. I haven't been successful at using the radio feature. I only get static, even with a cord for an antenna. . The chime upon pairing is pretty loud and annoying. Neutral: I haven't used the SD card input

Easily one of the best mini speakers I have owned...
First off, if you found this review helpful in your decision-making, please click on the helpful button so this review may help others in their decision-making process. Seems as though amazon is advertising a different product. This review is for the small, compact mini version. UPDATE 10/2018: First speaker that I bought broke after wife dropped it about 1ft from the ground. The speaker is VERY FRAGILE! It broke in half at the seam where the top half and bottom half meet, and actually still worked after that, but I couldnt glue the pieces back together, and would have looked horrible on my tabletop, so decided to toss it. Came back and ordered 2 white ones. Everything is exactly the same, except the top section is now white. Now I have an extra one in case the same thing happens again! Very good, quality mini portable speaker. Produces clear, precise, powerful tones that vibrates the speaker (see video review) and distorts very little at max volume. Very compact, about the same size as a lighter, making transport incredibly easy. Has 4 different play modes (FM Mode/Radio, Micro SD, AUX Port, and Bluetooth) and a built-in mic to answer phone calls when in bluetooth mode. LED lights flash different colors, but can be turned on or off at your discretion. On a full charge, speaker can play for about 5-6 hours at 65% volume, and lasts about 4 days on standby. Overall, very happy with this product, and honestly wish I bought more when I was able. I highly recommend.

Works ok, but...
The speaker part itself is awesome. It sounds great for its size and I've had it in use longer than they say the battery life is between charges. I don't know if that is because I was using it with the AUX port instead of bluetooth, but that is my guess. However, there are a couple of problems. It emits an extra loud noise when turning it on and when selecting between bluetooth/fm radio/AUX port usage. There is no way to turn this down or even off that I can find and know others have the same problem. Can wake up the whole house if it is used when others are sleeping. I was using it with a non-bluetooth Sandisk Clip mp3 player to listen to audiobooks while using my computer. I was also using just the mp3 player at work so it kept my place in the audiobook - that's why I didn't use the computer to listen to the audiobook. For this purpose it works great. However, I just bought a new Bluetooth enabled Sandisk Clip Sport Plus, but I can't get it to properly play though the speaker. It pairs with the speaker and starts to play, then the sound cuts out completely after a few seconds. I've tried pairing it multiple times, even deleting the profile on the mp3 player and re-searching for the speaker, but always with the same issue once it is connected. Will update this if I figure it out...

Small but versatile
The speaker has met all my expectations so far - it can play at loud volume without rattling or noticeable sound distortion, but the most satisfying feature is that it is capable of playing FM stations quite nicely once you find the good spot for it. Of course, you must connect the charging cable to act as FM antenna and the trick I noticed to help with the reception quality is to plug in the USB end of the cable to a USB port on a computer - I don't know if that extends the "antenna" length or just helps to dissipate stray voltages in the cable to the ground, but it works better for me that way. Once you let it scan the available FM stations, they are stored in the speaker's memory and persist between power off/on cycles. The only drawback is that you cannot tell what FM station it is playing since there is no display of any kind. Because I primarily use it to listed to radio stations while working on a computer, I wish that the LED rings would at least indicate the range of frequencies it is playing - for example, stay solid green for 88.1-92.9 then change to red for 93.1-97.9 then to blue for 98.1-102.9 and finally to purple for 103.1-107.9 - or something like that. Overall, this is a fantastic device for the price!

Awesome!!!! Really, Truly Awesome!!!!
In planning ahead for a holiday gift for a large group at work, I looked for something electronic and cool - and found this speaker. I purchased one, and fell in love with it! Nice weight, great bass sound, sleek, syncs easily to my iPhone - PERFECT! So, I purchased 85 more. Yes, it's only May, but I'm set for the holidays! Lucky me, though - I don't have to wait til the end of the year! I have mine NOW! I took it to a sports bar where there are multiple TVs, but no table close enough to a TV. But wait - I had a solution! I set the speaker on the table and turned it on, and synced it to my iPhone. I connected my phone to a battery since it was going to run for awhile. Then, I launched the Tunity app on my phone. Tunity has you use your phone camera to focus on the TV screen, and Tunity syncs to the TV station sound! So, my husband and I were able to sit 30 feet away from the TV, with my phone connected to the TV sound and the sound coming out of the speaker. We had great sound at our table and could listen to the entire sports broadcast!!!!! See the picture for the set up - and yes, peanuts were on the house!

Radio feature is useless
I purchased this specifically to pick up FM radio. Complete. Waste. Of. Money. (and time) Will be returning it. It could not receive any FM signals. I recall reading that some devices use the headphones as an antenna so I plugged in some and, could almost receive a station. Finally I got my mini FM transmitter and held it RIGHT NEXT TO THE UNIT and was able to get that signal. Weakly. The sound quality was atrocious. Better of with two cans an some string. almost forgot, someone said these things are about the size of a fist - wrong. Unless you're talking about the fist of an eight year old. A small eight year old. They are about 1/3 the size of my very average male hands. EDIT: I have since learned that you need to plug a mini-usb cable in to act as the antenna. I did this and reception was improved, but only barely. Also, the manual is extremely poor. The only thing it tells you is to tune up oress >> and to tune down press <<. In .1 increments it would take ten presses to go from 90 to 91 FM. To get to 104 would take 50 presses! It will, however scan for stations if you long-press the telephone button. It takes a few moments but then will skip to only received signals. Downside is that you have to run this every time you use it. Would seem like something worth putting in the manual., eh? terrible, terrible cheap poorly documented product. Sending it back as soon as I finish editing this review. Hopefully my comments will help someone who owns this - or, even better, prevent anyone else from buying one for use a s a FM receiver.
