awesome little day pack
bought this for riding my motorcycle; wanting something small and light but not completely collapsible. this is the perfect combo of small and yet with padded back and straps to give it some structure and comfort. I think it's sharp looking as well. have had it about a month. love it. my wife used it for a hike last week. really liked it. great price and I'm happy with the quality.

Solid backpack, amazing price
Super bag! It has all of the features of a much more expensive bag. Many storage compartments, solid clips, nice color, airflow back, adjustable chest strap, nice pulls…

Great little day pack
The straps are comfortable, and the back cushioning is good, creating separation for airflow to help keep you cool. It's not particularly large, but easily fits everything I need; the main compartment easily accommodates a couple binders and notebooks, the middle several small odds-and-ends (notecards, pens and the like). I don't typically keep anything in the outer compartment, unless it's small and thin (like a small notepad, or folded up sheets of paper), but the shock cords on the outside are handy for odd-shaped things. I can fit a full-size Nalgene in the side pockets, but they're not very deep, so if you bend over at the waist with one in there, it could fall out. The bright colors and reflective strips make it easy to spot if you set it down. I've only owned it for a month or so, so I can't speak for the long-term durability, but it seems solid so far.

Great day pack considering the price and feature set
I needed a smaller daypack for my shoulder / summer hikes where I don't need to carry insulating gear or planned overnight setups. This little pack fits the bill nicely. It's well organized, and has a lot of the features the big names have at a much lower price point. I'm not carrying books or bricks with it, but do I expect to get 10 years / 10,000 miles out of it? likely not - but so far it's held up well. One quirk - but this is just because of the size - the "hip belt" is up around my belly. I have a long torso, and the pack is short so that's not really the fault of the pack itself. I appreciate the sternum strap whistle, the accommodations for a bladder, the keychain latch, and the included rain cover.

Excellent light weight backpack
Just returned from a 3-week trip to Japan. This backpack is an excellent value. It worked well as my personal item on the plane. It has many straps, ones on the side which helped secure a large water bottle or an umbrella in the side mesh pockets (I have had problems with other small backpacks where even small water bottles fell out of the mesh pockets but everything staid in this one). I also used the supplied ties and loops to carry trekking poles and this worked well even when traveling through the subway. The rain cover also came in handy and staid on the bag. I would say the only negative was the strange circular zipper pulls. I thought they might rip off - but didn't have a problem. They do tend to blend in with all the other fasteners on the bag - so can be hard to find when you want to unzip. Overall it is a really well thought out and practical bag at a really reasonable price.

Impressive Well Made Backpack!
Here's a rewritten review: 2 years in and this 35L backpack is still going strong! I've taken it on countless trips, cruises, and flights, and it looks like new. No fading, no rips, no stains... it's seriously impressive. If you're looking for a reliable travel companion, I'd definitely recommend this one 👍

Perfect Day Hiking Pack For This Price Point
I've just returned from a 2 week trip to the Slovenian and Italian Alps and bought this backpack specifically to use during the day hikes on that trip. Since hiking isn't something I do often, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a branded pack. This pack was perfect. The padded straps were comfortable. The air channel down the back did help my back a bit from getting too sweaty. We had highs around 80 on some days. The zippers were easy to open/close and didn't stick like some of the other backpacks at this price point. The trekking pole straps were perfect. I liked that there was one on each side, so the poles weren't stuck together on one side, making it lopsided. The bungee criss-cross was perfect for holding my raincoat on a day with off/on drizzle. I loved the pocket layout too for both airplane travel and hiking, and there was plenty of room for extra layers, tech gear, snacks, etc. The water bottle holders on each side easily held different sized bottles from 20oz to 1 liter. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

No Blue in Lakeblue
This seems like a great backpack for the price. Plenty of pockets and space. The zippers seem to be of good quality. My only downgrade is the color. There is NO blue in Lakeblue - it is a dark Emerald Green. I am returning it for a black one.
