These are well constructed and work as they should. Material looks like black iron not sure if it actually is. They are easy to install and sit level under my floating shelves. One of the best things about these brackets is the hole location. You can actually line these up and screw into the stud through all the holes which makes them very sturdy. I have them in my kitchen so I needed ones that could support some weight. I like they have different sizes to choose from and definitely would recommend. These are a good value for the price.

Very thick and heavy brackets. I mounted a shelf over the washer/dryer with them and loaded it up with all the detergent and cleaning products. It is handling it without problem. Came with all the screws needed for the install.

Very sturdy. Some may not be exactly 90 degrees, but close enough to pull them tight with the screws.

I am not an experienced woodworker, but I am pleased with the floating shelves I made using these brackets. I built them with 2" × 6" × 3' non-treated lumber, which I lightly sanded after notching the back to fit against the wall, since the brackets create a small gap. I then applied a pre-stain, stained twice in golden oak, and finished with two coats of oil-based polyurethane diluted 50% with mineral spirits. The leftmost and rightmost brackets are secured into studs, while the middle bracket is mounted into sheetrock using the included anchors (I tend to overdo things, so you can skip the middle bracket if you prefer). These hold a good amount of weight but id recommend different screws. The ones provided are very short and popped out of the wood. Id also only install with short end, down. If you try to hide the short side behind the shelf, it wont sit flat

I had been reviewing numerous shelf brackets to purchase for some custom garage shelves I had built and there was always one or two reviews that kept me searching so I came across these brackets and decided to take a chance and I am glad I did. Solid, heavy duty brackets that are very well made is what I received. Purchased the 10" brackets for a 1"x12"x8' in which I am displaying 7-8 stadium replicas each shelf weighing 3-5lbs a piece. The brackets are installed directly into the studs and I only needed to install 3 of them for this 8 ft shelf. No sag at all and a solid hold. Great brackets I highly recommend. Each box comes with a nifty little level that can be used for other things. Hardware provided is plentiful and the screws are solid .

Although the company did not advertise for the brackets to be installed in a standard bracket method ( wall bracket below the horizontal) it would have been nice to have the option. The holes on the long end to secure the shelf to the bracket are only recessed drilled on one side. (with the wall bracket above the horizontal. As the normal installation of this specific product, you may end up with the bracket exposed depending on the thickness dimension of the shelf I wanted to invert them. Would have been nice to have the option. Could I yes, except for the coating being marred. One of my 6 brackets was less than 9-0 degrees and I had to shim behind the bracket to level. Is that my fault for inverting them? 90 degrees right side up or right side down is still 90 degrees.... Like other reviewers, I hoped that the close size of the 3-hole pattern would allow for hitting the side of a 2x4 (1/2") that isn't going to happen. I tried several times and had to settle for 2 sold in the wood. Having said that like another reviewer,the process left you too close to attempt to use the supplied dry wall anchors. On that subject, the screws are of a sufficient length but the drywall anchors should be thrown away and are the cheapest I have seen in many years. One stripped trying to screw it in and two more stripped out when installing the screws into them. Go get some molly bolts or toggle bolts. The hole left after the crappy drywall anchors come out they will pop right in. The narrative under the product description stated "Large Capacity - 100 lbs. max weight capacity per pair when mounted into wall stud centers" Instructions that came with parts said 40lb a bracket..... On a last note, blame Amazon or the manufacturer but purchasing these was WAY harder than it needed to be. I needed two, the minimum purchase was 4. Fine, maybe ill use the others later. The expected delivery was 45 days. Did not understand that when all of the others were 2-3 days delivery. I could wait so I ordered it. Plans changed I needed to accelerate the product. Canceled reordered 6. 2-3 days expected. The order got delayed and then we got notified that "Unfortunately, a problem occurred with your shipment and we no longer expect it to be delivered. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. If you have not received your refund within 5 days, please contact us." Not delayed. We reordered 6 pack again. ((keep in mind this was the only bracket that had a dimension that might hit the side of a stud so limited options. ) Finally received the next day. Would I repurchase ? NO.

The brackets are very strong and heavy duty. I haven’t installed yet, but will be looking forward to using them.

Unlike what they show in the pictures, those screw holes are not countersinked. You can do it yourself, but then the steel will be exposed. The inner edge is square and not as rounded as the outer edge which might reduce the load bearing strength a little. The powder coating is good which gives it a matte black finish. Nothing much to complain about really.
