Clovelly Soap Co Natural Handmade Cedarwood & Lemongrass Soap Bar for all Skin Types 100g

I have bought this soap a few times now and have never been disappointed. It has a pleasing sandalwood scent and does a good job at cleaning, handy for a bar of soap. Although soap bars are not as convenient as shower gel I've found that using a sisal soap bag not only improves convenience but also the experience overall. It lasts a long time, I would say probably about 2 months depending on your usage. Using natural ingredients is reassuring, especially if you're trying to cut down on chemical usage in the bathroom. The companies packaging is all paper based, recycleable and attractive. The postal bag, although plastic, is recycleable with carrier bags at most supermarkets. I would recommend this soap for anyone looking for a natural, environmentally friendly alternative to shower gel or similar.

This was bought for a present, so I can't comment on the lather or cleaning qualities, but it smells absolutely gorgeous. It is as described and arrived well within the estimated date, and has cute packaging. The outer packaging also smells great! Nice size bar too :)

Great soap, smells lovely and it's a quite large bar so lasted me for ages. Don't need much and it left my skin feeling soft.

This is a good soap but a bit too expensive for what it is, it smells great at the start but then it fades. It cleans without issues and is gentle on the skin. It doesn't last long however, a few weeks used by one person. I wouldn't buy again.

I always use L'Occitane lavender soap and had run out so tried to order some from their website. I gave up after an hour ! I looked for an alternative and came across this soap and ordered, it arrived the next day well packaged. It is lovely, smells good and lathers well, I would highly recommend. A further endorsement for the Clovelly Soap Co, I rarely if ever review anything I buy so you the fact I have done makes your soap something special. Great value too, I bought four bars.

Purchased this company's soaps because they're Vegan and also don't contain shea butter which I'm allergic to - it's so difficult to find anything anymore that doesn't have shea butter in it! Also, they're made in the UK which is an added bonus. - On the plus side this soap feels moisturising on the skin - I use it to wash my hands and they feel very smooth and not dry at all after washing. It also lathers nicely and is a manageable size to use for hands. - On the negative side it doesn't smell of sandalwood or even bergamot - in fact the soap I received doesn't smell of anything at all. It's like the scentless soaps you can buy. I use pure natural oils regularly and have both sandalwood and bergamot oil so I know what they should smell like, and there isn't even a hint of either aroma. It's basically a pretty, swirly looking, marbled bar of fragrance-free soap that is kind on the skin. So rather disappointing.
