Odd Birds

Funny, heartwarming and brilliantly written. Made me fall in love with nature and I've never really considered myself an outdoorsy person before. I even saw past my fear or birds and loved every story from the heartache to happiness. It's must read for any fan of Hollywood, birds or Ian himself obviously!

Ich kann dieses Buch nur empfehlen!! Auch wenn es auf englisch ist kann man es super verstehen weil Ian so einfach geschrieben hat als würde man sich mit ihm unterhalten. Es sind viele witzige Anekdoten in dem Buch z.B. wie sein Casting für Pretty Little Liars ablief. Da ich sowieso ein riesen Fan von Ian Harding bin und mich glücklich schätzen kann ihn persönlich getroffen zu haben, bin ich sehr froh dieses Buch zu haben. Für mich auch sehr interessant über die vielen verschiedenen Vogelarten zu lesen - ein Bereich in dem ich mich nicht auskenne. Man wollte aber immer wissen über welchen Vogel er gerade gesprochen hat und somit lernt man selber einiges :) Auch die Qualität des Buches finde ich sehr gut mit einigen Bildern aus seiner Kindheit.Ein MUSS für jeden Fan und nicht Fan :D

Non mi aspettavo davvero che questo attore di una serie adolescenziale avesse una capacità di scrittura così elevata. Il libro è semplice, carico di humor e di ragionamenti profondi che vengono esposti in modo fluido e scorrevole e rendono la lettura davvero piacevole! Bravissimo Ian Harding! Del resto è un figlio d’arte! Il padre è un bravo scrittore

he pagado por este genero , lo he pedido hace tiempo, era para un regalo.......era el libro para una compañera, le gustaba el autor y estoy esperando este paquete. vuelvo ha recordar es un libro. y me lo han cobrado y no se nada.

Ein wirklich tolles Buch, leicht zu lesen. Wirklich unterhaltsam. Ein schöner Umfang mit Natur und dem Hollywood-Wahnsinn. Schauspieler sind eben auch nur Menschen. Empfehlenswert.

J’ai reçu ce livre pour mon anniversaire et j’ai été très surprise par la qualité du reliage. C’est vraiment un beau livre.En tant qu’amatrice de lecture et d’autobiographies, j’ai été agréablement surprise d’en apprendre un peu plus sur cet acteur. J’ai beaucoup aimé la manière dont il allie son métier et sa passion pour les oiseaux, chaque détail est très précis. Il a une jolie manière d’écrire et d’incorporer des points de vues dans son histoire. De très belles anecdotes et un bon moment passé à en découvrir plus sur son monde. Je conseille !!!

I love this book. I know Ian now for a few years from Pretty Little Liars and as I heard he was releasing a book about birds, I got excited. As the book arrived it was damaged, but amazon send me a new copy the next day.This book makes you laugh, cry and sometimes smirk a bit. It's well written and has some beautiful storys in it.I'd love a part 2.

Just returned from seeing Ian here in Arlington, VA for his book tour! Amazing event! Ian is down to earth, funny, witty, smart and quite handsome.He discussed his book-answered questions, and gave behind the scene details on his writing process while dicussing his favorite hobby. He is a wonderful writer. The book is an enjoyable quick read keeping you entertained and smiling along the way! Well done Ian!

Fast, easy read. Nice connection to the birding world by someone you might not expect to be into it. I never watched "Pretty Little Liars" so I wasn't familiar with his work.

Read it quickly. I was actually surprise by how down to earth and real this author is with writing of his book. Love the stories about birds and passion for birding. He did a awesome job combining nature with the everyday life of Hollywood actor. I LOL several times when tells about his family and friends. Looking forward to reading more books by Ian.

This book is so lovely! It's well written and had me laughing and crying the whole way through. I'm not a bird person, but he talks about his passion for birds in a way that really connects with his audience. I thoroughly enjoyed this! Well done!
