It works for small hobby project
Under no load condition it does produce constant 5V output. I had one Arduino Nano power through this regulator. As soon as the Nano was connected, the voltage dropped to 4.99 and stayed constant there. For this operation, it is a good fit. Not sure if it is suitable for more current drawing operations.

Output voltage drops well below 5v under load. Do not waste your money.
I should have read more reviews first. Can confirm that these do in fact spit out 5v under light load, the voltage drops off dramatically under load and are unusable.

What can you say about a 5V DC regulator that just woks like it's supposed to? My application only needs 500 ma, so this regulator should last forever. Price is right!

None of the 12 regulators I received put out more than 3.6V. Don't waste your money.
