Really cool guitar
My first resonator and it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures. Amazing sound as an acoustic and the pickup sounds great when you plug in. Of course, playing with a slide (which is a new thing for me) is incredible. Overall a great sounding and looking guitar at a reasonable price.

Acoustic good amplified not good
This resonator guitar is very beautiful especially the fretboard. It sounds really great acoustic, unfortunately plugged in the piezo pickup doesn't seem to amplify the distinct resonator sound. It sounds more like a regular acoustic electric guitar. It sounds fine for that, but you don't get the good resonator tones amplified.

BUZZ KILL
April 2021 - Ordered this via Amazon, was great for about 1 week, then started buzzing -- changed strings, removed plate and put back on -- stopped buzzing for about another week, then started again. Repeated same process but now buzzes so bad it's not playable -- total buzz kill! Gretsch customer service (Fender) closed on a Friday. Do better Gretsch/Fender -- a $600 instrument should last longer than a few weeks of playing! September, 2021 -- after working on this for weeks and taking to a pro luthier, it is still buzzing -- DO NOT BUY THIS INSTRUMENT, YOU WILL GET NO MEANINGFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IT WILL JUST SUCK! I would sell if anyone would buy it. Super frustrating -- DO NOT BUY!!!!

Great packaging. Set up nicely, played beautifully right out of the box. Very nice resonator for the price.

Very nice guitar for the money
I tend toward American made guitars generally but this asian made resonator is much better than I expected. Very good sound and build quality. Easy to play and projects well unplugged. Good entry level resonator.

GREAT Guitar
Man it is a beauty! Everything on it is pristine. Shipped fast. Absolute perfect gift to my husband. Best part the UPS man walks across the yard with the Gretsch box. It wasnt hard for my husband to figure out what was ordered since we were sitting outside at the time it delivered. UPS stole my thunder. Haha Seriously, great guitar.
