Yes. The read & write speeds are as advertised when it connected to the PCIe Gen 4x4 interface. If you connect it to PCIe Gen 3x4 interface, the speed will be limited to about 3500MB/s.

3. Why the usable capacity of the ssd that displays on a computer is less than its actual capacity?

It is because different algorithm was adopted. Factory adopts Decimal. 1GB=1000MB=1000000KB. Computer system adopts Binary.1GB=1024MB=1048576KB. After tested, there is about 7% less if displays on a computer.

4. Does the S880 1tb m.2 ssd work on a ps5?
