Tamagotchi Uni

I used to love my old tamagotchi 4.5 as a kid and now here I am buying tamagotchi uni as an adult as a late Christmas present for myself. 🤣 The box came looking a little bit suspicious with some extra tape on top. I am thinking this was just added as an extra protection and I hope that nobody was already opening this before me. Everything works really well, the sound could be a little bit better but we can only expect so much from such a small device. The price does match the product value to some extent. There is a lots of upgrades compared to last releases and the device can connect to wifi which brings a lot of new possibilities and the developers are still working on updates and are sending free item gifts (which is so cool!!) because of the wifi being on. However, I got this for a half price and I am honestly not sure if I would be willing to pay the full price for this. Nevertheless, I am very happy with my purchase! I also love the colours in the game and the fact you can completely turn off the sound or change the brightness.

I couldn’t resist getting the TAMAGOTCHI for my 8-year-old daughter, and it’s been a trip down memory lane for me. This new generation of the iconic 90s virtual pet is packed with customisable features, blending the charm of the original with modern upgrades. My daughter loves the vibrant 'purple pet'. It’s an interactive experience that keeps her entertained while teaching her about responsibility and nurturing - which we've had to do a few times over since she's still learning how to actually keep them alive. LOL The wearable design is a big hit, and the electronic game is simple enough for her to navigate independently. The customisation options, from the pet’s appearance to its accessories, are great and lets her express her creativity. 🎮💜🐾

I bought this for my son who originally wanted the monster carnival tamagotchi. Having done some research, I found you can get the download codes for the themed tama’s and download them onto any of the tamagotchis. I got the purple regular uni and the monster carnival dlc. Great fun, battery seems good so far, need to be careful not to over charge. So many features but very user friendly. Super impressed!

I opted for a longer wait for delivery (up to 2 months) for a lower price but the Uni arrived in 2 weeks which was really good. The packaging was iffy. Although the cardboard part of the box was perfect there was Sellotape on the top and inside on the plastic. As this was for myself and not a gift I carefully looked everything over and there were no scratches on the screen or the back and the device needed to be updated which makes me think it wasn’t a return or refurb. It’s still weird that it would be opened but as the prices had gone up by the time I got it and the Uni seemed fine I decided to keep it. Onto the actual gameplay this really is a lovely Tamagotchi. It’s colour and you have 5 rooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and garden. You can place furniture in the living room and garden and you can change your living room’s background. The buttons are easy to press and the menu is easy to get used to. You can dress up your tama with 4 items (only 1 or 2 when they’re little). There’s a shop, an arcade and you can go online and buy other users outfits from around the world. You can travel to other places and your tama can even go on a date and get married. There are events too but so far there’s none yet but I’ll keep checking. It’s fun and cute. There’s a lot to do, I’m still learning more as I play it. You can also scan QR codes to your phone and you can input codes to get items, it’s great. If you don’t have a lot to time to care for your tama there’s a free tama sitting service that lasts until 7pm. It’s rechargeable so no need to buy batteries but don’t charge it for more than 90 minutes. I would have given this 5 stars if the packaging was perfect.

Although expensive for a kids toy (in my eyes anyway as his grandma) this has stood the test of time. He is still looking after his 'Tama' now. Screen is clear, it is easy to use and given how long he has kept and played with this, overall it has been good value.

This game appears to have surprisingly little functionality for its price. My daughter has lost interest in it very quickly. Initial setup takes several minutes, but it is straightforward. You can do it without referring to the manual. The device does not seem very robust. I feel it needs a protective case, which given the high price, could have been included.

Ora, a quasi due mesi dall'acquisto, non posso che esprimere un entusiasmo totale per questo prodotto. Il Tamagotchi di oggi è molto più evoluto rispetto ai modelli che ricordavo. Offre una varietà di attività divertenti e coinvolgenti che tengono mia figlia impegnata e felice. Non si tratta più solo di nutrire e pulire il proprio animaletto virtuale, ma ci sono molte opzioni e minigiochi che stimolano l'interazione. Una delle caratteristiche più innovative è la possibilità di ricaricare il dispositivo tramite USB-C, il che rende tutto molto più semplice e moderno. Inoltre, l'introduzione del Tamaverse aggiunge un livello di interattività senza precedenti. È possibile connettersi e scaricare pacchetti aggiuntivi (alcuni gratuiti, altri a pagamento), rendendo l'esperienza ancora più ricca e coinvolgente. Il Tamagotchi Uni ha trasformato l'esperienza classica del Tamagotchi in qualcosa di veramente speciale e moderno. Mia figlia si prende cura del suo piccolo amico digitale ogni giorno e non mostra segni di noia, anzi, è sempre più entusiasta di avere con sé questo animaletto tascabile. Se state cercando un gioco che catturi l'attenzione dei vostri bambini e li aiuti a responsabilizzarsi con i primi rudimenti del “prendersi cura di un animale", il Tamagotchi Uni di Bandai è senza dubbio la scelta perfetta. Ha sicuramente superato tutte le mie aspettative e mi ha fatto rivivere un po' della magia della mia infanzia, tutto mentre creo nuovi ricordi con mia figlia. Consigliatissimo!

Retour en enfance garantie ! Ce Tamagotchi est super, il fonctionne bien et arrive dans sa boîte d'origine. Contrairement à ses homologues des années 2000 ce Tamagotchi possède un écran lumineux en couleur, on peut faire des mini-jeux, et aller dans le Tamaverse. On peut aussi se connecter à d'autres Tamagotchi pour rendre visite à ses amis.

Tamagotchi chyba zna każdy. Zabawka spełnia moje oczekiwania. Jest nowoczesna, z dostępem do internetu, ładuje się zwykłą ładowarką od telefonu poprzez port USB-C. Dostawa przebiegła bez problemów. Wszystko jak należy. Jestem bardzo zadowolony z zakupu. Kolekcjonuję Tamagotchi i jestem oczarowany tą wersją.
