moves air really good
love this fan. I use it in the house, the shop, the porch while drinking beer on hot evenings, and camping. Anywhere you need air movement this works well. I have 25 plus ryobi tools and am very happy with everyone of them.

Keeping cool at home....
I used this just yesterday in the back yard cutting shrubbery. It was hot and dint have an extension and presto....bakery operated cool air. What a deal.

Super quiet and works great!
Great fan, extremely quiet. Typically will last about 2-4 hours on a single battery depending on fan speed.

Best battery powered fan on the market
As sports parents in hot and sunny Florida, a way to cool is essential. We love how big the Ryobi 18V fan is and how powerful it is. It is priced better than fans that are half its size. We have also taken it to the golf course and the battery last an entire 18 hole round of golf.

Flaky thermal shutoff... whose idea was this?
Wish I could give it zero stars. These have a built-in thermal limit switch to protect the motor. So if it's hot, it will just stop working. BUT THAT'S WHEN I NEED IT TO WORK. Mine shuts down after a few seconds on medium speed at 75 degree temperatures. Apparently this is a widespread problem with these fans on ryobi forums. I haven't found a work around yet. It's unreliable. I do not recommend. Does not function as a fan.
