With 2x2 MIMO, the adapters intelligently transfer data through two streams to maximize speed. The HomePlug AV2 then quickly transfers your data via electrical wiring within the walls of your home. Beamforming additionally increases overall performance by strengthening your signal to powerline devices. Play in crisp, clear 4K from any room in your home without looking down at a loading screen. The terms AV2000 and 2000Mbps are derived from the applicable specifications and refer to the theoretical maximum physical layer data transfer rate. These terms are used in this product solely to indicate compatibility with other PowerLine AV2000 or 2000 Mbps devices. Actual data rates vary and are limited by the product's Ethernet port and other network conditions such as data traffic, electrical noise, and wiring issues. If you're not sure about your network conditions, you should consult an IT professional to help you select a network product." Theres a lot of hassle ahead! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Saw no difference between this and my older TP Link Power Line plugs *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 March 2021* I was expecting great things based on reviews - and although they look good, easy to set up, and do what they say, I did think I would be getting a speed upgrade over my previous AV500 TP-Link Adapters. In fact, on testing, the speed is identical. So I do feel I have made an unnecessary upgrade, and not gained anything. So just a precaution, to check that you know you will definitely be getting an improvement over any existing power line plugs you may have. Cuz i didn’t see any improvement. However, if you don't already have any power line plugs, then you can't go wrong with these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality, easy to connect, good English directions. Buy this one! *by on Reviewed in the United States 13 June 2026* This is too easy. We have a relatively large house with the router at one end, and the kitchen TV at the far end. The kitchen TV has always struggled with Netflix and YouTube TV streaming. I installed a $20 or so network extender which may have improved the signal, but not consistently. We have just been living with a poor signal, or not using those apps on the kitchen TV….I selected this product based on the front 110V outlet, no loss of an outlet, and the positive reviews on Amazon. I couldn't quite get the two items in the outlet to plug in with each other, so I put a 3 to 2 outlet adapter to extend the prongs and everything worked fine. The directions are clear, concise, and in English! There is literally only one button to push, and then watch for three LED lights if you are using an ethernet cable to connect to a device (each of mine is to a Samsung Smart TV). You will only have two lights if you are using the device as a "wireless" extender through your home electrical circuits.I took a chance and did not rewire the house to get each unit on the same circuit. It would have been easy to select each circuit and move the wires from one breaker to another. This re-wiring would be a DIY project with a few minutes of a You Tube learning video. The extenders worked flawlessly, and virtually immediately connected to each TV. You do have to change a Samsung TV from wireless network to a wired (ethernet) network in the TV’s settings. Easey-Peasey after a You Tube video. This system works better than expected. We have had rain, thunderstorms, high winds, and sunny very hot days since I ordered and installed the system. It works well, and I haven’t had a glitch at all.Again, highly recommended.Steve in Park City, KS ## Frequently Bought Together - TP-Link AV2000 Powerline Ethernet Adapter TL-PA9020P KIT - Powerline Network Adapter w/ Passthrough, Noise Filter, 2x2 MIMO, 2 Gigabit Ports, Ethernet Over Power, Plug Pair & Play, Power Saving Mode - DbillionDa Cat8 Ethernet Cable, Outdoor&Indoor, 6FT Heavy Duty High Speed 26AWG, 2000Mhz with Gold Plated RJ45 Connector, Weatherproof F/FTP UV Resistant for Router, Modem, PC, Gaming - TP-Link TL-SG105, 5 Port Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet Switch, Network Hub, Ethernet Splitter, Plug & Play, Fanless Metal Design, Shielded Ports, Traffic Optimization,Navy Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/53421036-tp-link-powerline-av2000-2-gigabit-ports-ethernet-over-power](https://www.desertcart.is/products/53421036-tp-link-powerline-av2000-2-gigabit-ports-ethernet-over-power) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
