It is not military looking, it is actually a dark olive green and looks new, not vintage. But, it is good as a winter coat and i will keep it. It has a great, removable fleece liner and plenty of exterior pockets, and 1 internal, would be better if zipped but never mind. Coat has a zipped fastening and also buttons. The look is more Liam Gallagher than vintage military, and that’s fine with me. Removed the German flag patches - no need for them! The German army flags on the arms are out of place and poorly cut - check carefully if you are particular about these details. I can live with this as it’s a coat to throw on and enjoy being out in cold weather and not worry about getting dirty. Pockets are ample for gloves, a hat, phone and other essentials. Coat is well made bar the finish of those flags and it’s a very decent coat for the price. It covers my buttocks. I looked on the reviews and people were saying that the sizing was on the small side, so I ordered a larger size and it was gigantic. I had to send it back and re-ordered a smaller size. I think I must have Googled the sizing of them. It's not easy!! **Q: Is a size UK 36 a woman's size 6?** A: I was thinking I would be asked about how good the coat is, its a fantastic outdoor coat and you won't be disappointed. As for the size I googled it and a chart read Euro 36= UK 8, =US 4, =Australian 8, but being a guy I am not as familiar with womens sizing. The hoods are always plenty big enough [inadequate feature in some parkas]. I would have given this coat ten but a button dropped off, and bottom draw cord too long. Apart from that lining even better than expected.
