German New Army Nato Parka.

Read other reviews saying the coat is not the same as pictured, and I 100% agree. It is not military looking, it is actually a dark olive green and looks new, not vintage. But, it is good as a winter coat and i will keep it. It has a great, removable fleece liner and plenty of exterior pockets, and 1 internal, would be better if zipped but never mind. Coat has a zipped fastening and also buttons. The look is more Liam Gallagher than vintage military, and that’s fine with me. Removed the German flag patches - no need for them!

I was looking for an army style parka with more of a lived in look as per the picture for this product. The jacket I’ve bought has a very modern finish and would n’t look out of place on sale in a department store. Not what I thought I was buying but still very well made, warm and functional so still a good purchase. The German army flags on the arms are out of place and poorly cut - check carefully if you are particular about these details. I can live with this as it’s a coat to throw on and enjoy being out in cold weather and not worry about getting dirty. Pockets are ample for gloves, a hat, phone and other essentials. Coat is well made bar the finish of those flags and it’s a very decent coat for the price. If anything, it’s an upgrade and more of a modern take on the parka in the picture.

I used these coats, outdoors in the seventies and eighties, I love them, they were second hand ex army, even when wet I didn't feel cold [due to lining]. The hoods are always plenty big enough [inadequate feature in some parkas]. I would have given this coat ten but a button dropped off, and bottom draw cord too long. Apart from that lining even better than expected. Best all round outdoor coat bar none.

This parka was designed for a Northern European winter and is very warm, well made and comfortable to wear. For those of us not routinely wearing a pistol belt it could have been improved with a draw-string at the waist - but as it was originally designed for soldiers in winter this comment is probably about forty years too late! Anyway, this is a minor personal point and shouldn’t put you off buying. I am delighted with the parka and the whole purchasing experience. Fast delivery and well packaged. I would have no hesitation in recommending this parka and this on-line store to anyone.

Good jacket, arms were a little short, not the same quality as the real thing

there were no delivery problems with my parka and it wasn't late,its a brand new green parka and it fits perfectly,for some reason I was expecting this to be 2nd hand but it isn't,also its very good quality and well lined so its nice n warm,its got a zip and buttons at the front and button tightened sleeves,1 inside pocket ,the liner is removable,its got 2 shoulder straps and 2 mini german flag patches on each shoulder,2 outside pockets of course.i highly recommend this coat if your lookin to buy a parka or winter coat.

I’ve own 3 of these coats this one being the 4th and it’s by far the worst copy I’ve seen. In liner is extremely poor quality. Sleeves are very short . Stitching is very poor and the general quality is bad. Don’t waste your money on this , spend a little more and get a good quality one. Do not buy
