Product description Review: Worked great on oak! - I needed a larger chamfer bit to put a 45 degree angle on the full width of some 3/4" oak boards. This did a great job and left a very nice finish on this hard wood. Review: Worked for my project, like the price - Making 4 night stands and wanted the front corners to have a good oak face on both the front and side. I bought this miter bit to form the pieces. Knowing it was very inexpensive and may be not as good as Freud or Whiteside I wanted to try it. I full depth chamfered 3/4" oak on 16 pieces 26" long. The surfaces came out very smooth and the pieces matched up perfectly. However, I am a hobbyist, in no hurry, so I made three passes to get thru it. Having a 3.5 hp router with plenty of power, I never hog off a lot of wood in one pass. I have several inexpensive router bits, they may not get used extensively but they stay sharp and work thus I have no problem using them. Like the price.

Important details to know...
Seems to be a nice quality bit, but be aware of the size (it didn't fit in my router). The overall size of the blade was larger than my router could accept. My Bosch router is only one speed and it operates at 22000 RPM, which exceeds the allowable speed of the bit too. I will have to return this bit and put a different edge on my fireplace mantel. But, from the look and feel, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to someone with a larger router that has a variable speed adjustment to run it at a slower speed. Lesson learned, read the description more carefully!

Sharp
Sharp, solid, quality construction. A very good value at this price.

Clean Cut
Well made, well balanced router bits. They cut clean in a brittle wood. I used these bits to shape 100 year old wormy chestnut boards at 30, 45 and 60 degree angles on a router table.

Great price but not sure the durability…
Received this router bit to do some mitered corners for a table. Price was great and it fit what I needed for my project. I noticed after about 10 passes with some 3/4 plywood that it was not cutting as clean as the first few passes. I tried adjusting the bit because I thought it might need a height adjustment but it still did the same thing. I think it was fine for what I needed, it just took a little sanding to make the 45 degree cut look nice. Overall I’m satisfied because of the price.

Rare set up of router bits. Very Good
I am impressed by the 60 degree bit in particular. It cuts flush. I recommend to use it at low speed. You may check if your router (base & chuck) is suitable for such a big router bit. I need the 60 degree bit for a particular application and I am very happy to say that it did an excellent job. It seemed impossible to find one with bearing. After some research I discovered this offer on amazon. Well at least I found this one even if it is located at the other side of the globe (or disc in case you are a flat earther). I can only repeat myself the 60 degree one was very hard to find. I am very happy to have found these.

Tearout galore
Showed up fast, seemed pretty sharp. Gave it a test run on some scrap walnut. The first picture is the surface the cutter left me on the second pass (first looked the same). Took a couple mm off per pass and it tore out a lot of little chunks of wood. The second picture is me going over the damaged area with an oooooold well used Freud 45° bit. You can literally see the two different angles where they intersect, from smooth to not. Cutting was substantially different as well. The xgendp bit just threw sawdust like it was pulverized the wood. Freud threw tiny paper thin little shavings. Will not buy again.
